To me the Heat fans are such front runners, what did they expect, really?

Did they really think that just because Lebron James and Chris Bosh decided to take their talents to south beach with a roster that litterally was put together over night that they thought they'd rule the NBA?

Where this is coming from for me is reading the Miami Herald online and reading some of the comments from them and a few Cavs fans that enjoy the struggles of the Heat, the Heat counter with the "greatest comeback in the world" (cant really use sarcasim on a computer) "You're just mad you live in Cleveland and there isnt anything to do and we live in South Beach and we can go to clubs and your team sucks and Lebron wante to get out of Cleveland as soon as he could!!"

Really Miami Heat fans, you have a team you dont deserve, a organization begging you to go to the games, and when you do go to the games you show up late and leave early, and this is all following the fact that you threw a championship celebration if not to just throw it in the face of Cleveland and Toronto and then your upset because other teams in the NBA just don't roll over because you're the Miami Heat with Bosh, Wade, and James?

This is why everyone right now hates the Miami Heat.

Just gonna keep my mouth shut till June when the parade is in South Beach.....

Hey Tickler15, I didn't know there was a place somewhere in LOS ANGELES called "South Beach".....Usually, we hold our parades in downtown LA. Funny, I never seen an ocean in downtown LA.

As for the Heat. Face it, ONLY Dwyane Wade knows how to win a title. Lebron doesn't have a clue. Bosh is severely overrated. These guys are feeling pressure like they have never felt before. Bosh and Lebron want to party, not work hard. Lebron has never been known to have a strong work ethic.

Keep in mind the new members of the Heat (Lebron and Bosh) were dancing and preening on a stage with smoke and a laser light show as though they won a title. Do these clowns know what it really takes? Nope. That is why Wade needs to be the "alpha dog" in this trio and tell Bitch James and Bosh to shut the fuck up and work hard. But Lebron's ego won't surrender the alpha dog role and this will destroy the Heat.

For all this talk about Riley taking over, this is something Lebron and Bosh do not want to happen. If Riley takes over, Lebron's ego will get shut down and Riley will try and MAKE Lebron a ROLE PLAYER. Can Lebron handle that? He can't.

Say what you want about Kobe's "ego", but at the end of the day, Kobe Bryant ALWAYS had the will to win titles. Lebron never has.....

There is a reason why we play the games.....

You're right. There is a reason why they play the games. I wish Lebron and Chris Bosh were aware of that as they were dancing on stage proclaiming they're going to win 5 to 8 championships in their careers...

The Heat aren't playing up to expectations, but.. it's only November. As we all know, NBA titles aren't won in November, they are won in April, May, and June.

The way I see it: Heat fans have nothing to be arrogant about, until they actually win something. The Lakers are still the champs, last I looked. Two NBA titles in a row, and been to the Finals three straight years.

Miami will need to play better to go far this year. There are a lot of good teams in the East. Orlando, Boston, even Atlanta. The Heat aren't guaranteed anything, even with Wade and Lebron on their roster.

I'm just going to sit back, and see what happens. It really is too early to determine anything.

Mitch

Well first off is was a bad movie signing Erik Dampier....I know Haslem went down but you had Dexter Pittman, Juwon Howard and Jamal Maglorie in the power rotation....Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem is a huge blow BUT they could of signed another Point Guard because Chalmbers and Arroyo just ain't cutting it....:sheesha:

Your going to have to join to see what Im talking about the complete disreguard for the opponents they face, according to Heat fans its just a matter of time before they figure it out, which I don't doubt, but they think its coming sooner than later.

If Riely does come down and clips coach spo...errr...I mean take over after he wants to spend time with his family, winning or losing that will make the Heat even more hated than they are now.

I fully agree with you Mitch. I think a little humility and less fanfare when they all got together in Miami would have went a long way. That stage celebration party was seen as a slap in the face to the former teams.

But all this drama is great for the NBA.

Any comparisons of LeFraud James to Michael Jordan are just laughable. You'd never hear Jordan whining about the coach playing him too many minutes.

I don't believe he said that but....I am glad some of your realize Jame's MVPs were the result of hype...

And in another show of Lebron James sorryness, during a tme out he goes out of his way to bump into the head coach, I dont remember ever seeing Jordan, Bryant, or any great player in the NBA's past or present doing anything like that.

I think the true Lebron is coming out this year, a self center, arrogant a-hole who like Dan Gilbert said, thinks he can go to heaven without dying.

jaba, thanks.

Amish is completely correct. Lebron James is NOT Jordan.

To me, "greatness" in the NBA is measured by two things: A player's numbers during his career, and how many championships he wins. Period. The ONLY player who even comes close to Jordan, in that respect, is Kobe. He's always had a very high scoring average, and, most important, he has five championship rings with the Lakers, with a very good chance for a sixth this year, which, as we know, if he gets it, would tie Jordan for number of championships won. Shaq is probably a close second, with four championships, but in my mind, Kobe is the only one who anyone can even compare with Jordan.

Lebron is a good player, no doubt, but, the ultimate judgement on his career, will be, as with any basketball player, how many championships he wins. That remains to be seen.

Mitch

Michael Jordan and some of the other NBA greats have said it never would have occurred to them to leave their teams to hook up with another superstar, for a ring. All they wanted to do was beat the other superstars and top competitors in the league, not join them.

I still believe Lebron should have opted for the major media market of New York, and matured, as a quality team was built around him. I think that move would have been better received by NBA fans, perhaps even fans in Clevland.

No one, even Kobe Bryant, compares to Michael Jordan. Number 23 is in a class by himself. Jordan played in an era with many of the greatest players to ever play the game and he missed the opportunity to win eight-consecutive championships when he retired the first time. Shaq, the most dominating force of his time, was a bigger force behind their run in the 2000's.

jaba, maybe Jordan didnt like the idea of hooking up with another superstar for a ring, because he felt he was capable of winning one himself, without much or any help.

As for Lebron going to a "Major Media Market" to mature. While I agree with you about that, the logical place would have been L.A., because the Lakers are a championship caliber team already. They would not have been able to take him, because of salary cap issues, I dont think. The Knicks, while they have played better this season than recent years, basically have sucked for the last decade. Maybe Lebron didnt want to do what Ewing did all those years. Be with the Knicks, and be good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to win a title. Except for getting to the seventh game of the Finals in 1994, when Jordan was retired, the Ewing led Knicks never even came close to winning a championship.

I thought Lebron made the right move going to Miami, to join Wade, who already has a title. The next five to seven months, will tell us, whether or not the decision, will result in a championship for Lebron, in his first year with the Heat.

Mitch

One day people will realize Lebron is just a glorified Scottie Pippen. He is not a leader. Never has been, never will be. Leaders don't quit... ESPECIALLY when their teams were the #1 seeded team overall for the NBA playoffs two years in a row. I mean really, was it that far fetched for him to think they couldn't eventually win a title in Cleveland?

As for Kobe Bryant. One day people will realize just how much Shaq needed Kobe during those title runs. People on remember the NBA Finals where Shaq had severe mismatches against the East centers. Kobe dominated the Western Conference, in particular the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs neutralized Shaq every time, but they couldn't stop Kobe. Yes, Shaq was a major factor during the Laker title run from 2000-2002, but Kobe was not a mere sidekick, he was the main reason they even made the Finals...

Mitchell do not forget the best Powerfoward ever on that list, Tim Duncan.
