The Tummy Slap

One type of tickling that does seem to occur a lot in mainstream culture is the tummy slap. I am referring to instances where one person slaps or smacks another on their stomach, usually with the back of the person's hand. The tummy slap can be light or hard and only lasts a second. The person being slapped, if they're ticklish, will experience a momentary but strong tickling sensation on their tummy and will often instinctively jerk backwards.

As a male ticklee, I am especially fond of the tummy slap as guys tend to be the slap-ee most of the time. Though I did find a website where a fairly attractive young woman was describing how her bossy mother in law did this to her, probably to reinforce the idea that she was dominant. While I have to look under rocks to find women to tickle me, I've been tummy slapped on a number of occasions in my day to day life, usually by women trying to flirt. This happened in high school with one of my hot female teachers (this was before cougar teachers would just sleep with the students outright). It happened with girls who liked me in college. And it even happens every now and then as an adult. Given how common tummy slapping is, and how it creates tickling sensations, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone bring it up on the TMF.

So how about you? Any tummy slapping occurrences that you'd like to share?

I really wouldn't call that sensation tickling at all! It's a pretty nasty burn!

Having trouble even thinking of mainstream references to what you're talking about. Any examples of something mainstream that any of us may have seen where the Tummy Slap is employed? I know in the movie "Wedding Crashers" the guy wanted to play Tummy Sticks (PAUSE) with Vince Vaughn. I don't even know what that is, but I would want no parts of it........just random ranting.
