Thank you to everyone for your support and continued friendship during the weekend. Sorry I wasn't able to play and interact very much, but felt like shit a lot of the time. If it weren't for you guys (and gals) I wouldn't have made it through. All the help and kindness was/is much appreciated. It was fun regardless of how I felt and is now another good memory for me. I already miss you all!

ALCHEMY!!! Dude, I knew I was going to forget people I'm so glad that you were able to make it, have some fun, relax a bit... and it was GREAT talking to you, man, seriously. You've got some of the most fascinating hobbies, you're just all-around great. I hope that it wound up being worthwhile for you 😎

Kwildoctor and Lite: Thank you both for being two of the sweetest, kindest, friendliest people I've ever met! This despite the fact that Lite is no fun and is not ticklish. (the reason she laughs so much is because people always tell her very funny jokes in morse code using their fingers).

Thank you, Minerva, for coming ALL TEH WAY FROM FREAKING AUSTRIA to attend and enjoy the event! That's a hell of a trip and you, my dear, are a shining example of this event's success.

I know, lots of people were amazed when they heard where I was coming from. Sure, it was quite a trip, but I just really wanted to be there, as simple as that 🙂
You know, when I found this forum, I thought - ‘Wow, there are people who like what I like, let’s have some fun’ - I didn’t take things seriously in the beginning, after all, I was just a screenname talking to other screennames on the internet. Big mistake! After I continued to talk to a couple of people I soon realized I really wanted to be part of this ‘community’, I really wanted to get to know some of these people, that’s the only way it’d really make sense to me. So it didn’t take me long to decide I just had to go to this NEST. A hell of a trip? – true!, quite costly? – of course! So what, I love travelling anyway and I’ve spent way more money on things not even half as fun.

Was it worth it? YES, every single second of it. It was a great and very interesting experience.

I’m back home now since Thursday, still tired all the time, but not really able to sleep when I should (will be fun, once I have to go back to work on Monday )
I’ve read lots of the things people wrote about their experiences and there’s so much I’d have to say as well, but still don’t really find the words.

for making me feel welcomed
for making me laugh A LOT – one way or the other 😉
for great massages and foot rubs
for taking me sightseeing
for inviting me to join several activies
for giving me rides
for giving me hugs when I needed them

I hope you’ll forgive me if I don’t name all the names – you guys know who you are

and of course to all the organizers - I’m sure I’m not even aware of how much time and efforts every single one of you put into making an event like this possible – there is no way to thank you enough

It was great meeting some of the people I have talked to online before and meeting so many others. I wished I would have been able to talk to each and every one of you, but there was only so much time and it went by way too quickly.
But one thing I know for sure....there will be a next time
