Why did nobody tell me about this series? Tis ossom! I've just finished watching the first 12 episodes on catch-up telly and am waiting for the 13th. It's a lot more earthy and grounded than most "police drugs crime wtf" series, especially most American ones, and although the fact I've not been a smack dealer or detective in Baltimore means I can't comment definitively it certainly seems realistic. Anyone else a fan?


Also I think I might be gay for Omar. "Come at the king, you best not miss". >_<

I think the Wire, especially the middle seasons, is possibly the greatest TV Drama ever created, bar none. So yeah, I am with you. Enjoy the awesomeness!

I love all five seasons. Definitely one of the best TV shows ever made. Season 4 is my favorite, but they're all great. Glad you found it!!

Everything apart from McNulty; the bloke who plays him is from Sheffield (that's in England-shire!) and his American accent wobbles a lot >_<
