This wasn't a prolonged tickle, but it was still excellent. For her birthday, I got the woman an iTouch waxer. It's for dipping hands and feet when they've gotten rough. She's doing rotations at the hospital, keeping wacky hours, and I'm already rubbing her feet every four nights followed by two mornings. She was complaining about her feet getting calloused. So I spent a few bucks and came up with this wonderful device for $25.99.
it makes the wax hotter than hell, so I had to learn to heat it up on high, then turn it back to "keep warm" setting for half an hour, or she wouldn't stick her feet in it, which blows the whole thing. first we do her hands. she dips them four times each, then I put them in plastic bags, then slip them into these little cotton mittens that come with the thing.
next we do her feet. she dips those four times each as well, then into the plastic bags, then I wrap them in a blanket and fetch her the stool. I didn't take advantage of the situation the first four times we did this, because I didn't want to blow my cover. but tonight I finally pounced.
After I dipped her, we sat and watched a Lewis Black DVD for an hour. When it was over, she said, time to take the wax off. So I pulled off the blanket, then did one foot at a time. Off came the plastic bag on her left foot, then I started at her ankle. The stuff rolled off too easy, which I noted from earlier experiences. Tip: if you do this, here's the secret. After she's done dipping, leave her foot out as long as possible before you put it in the bag. This makes the wax stick better, and it comes off with more difficulty. This is your excuse for scraping it off. The parrafin wax makes the feet extra soft and slippery. So the wax on her right foot came off too easy, so she only squirmed as I took it off from between her toes.
But on the left foot, bingo. It would not roll off nicely. So I sat half my ass on the ottoman, her leg in my lap, and scratched that wax off. She went completely goofy on me. Her hands were still all wrapped up, so it was up to me. At one point she kicked me, so that was my excuse to wrap her leg up tight, and really lay into the bottom of her foot. I had her howling for about fifteen seconds. Not really a long foot tickle for us, but it was very, very nice.
That 26 bucks is the best investment I've made in a long time. best part is, she said to leave the thing on the first floor of the condo, by the living room, instead of back in the closet, so it'll be easier to get to tomorrow night. So the tickling didn't scare her off. I'll probably give the torture a rest tomorrow, so I don't scare her off.
