I'm surprised ZZ Top is not in the competition. Dang, they can trip over their wiskers.
 
I've seen ZZ-Top 10 times in concert, surprisingly I've never seen them trip over their beards. I was concerned the beards might get caught in their guitar strings. Although this wouldn't be a problem for Frank Beard, as he plays drums....and dosen't have a beard.

Something's been striking me especially funny about this and I finally figured out what it is... the use of the word "champion." This guy is not the winner of the "best beard category," he's the "beard champion." Somehow the word sounds so active to me that I keep picturing his beard performing amazing feats of strength and daring in front of a bunch of ESPN cameras.
