Heeyyyy? I've seen 100s of links at the TMF of the new group called MasterN2005, none of the links work... it just complains : "There is no group called MasterN2005" ....... 🙁

Help?
Really wanna see the new pictures 😉

he posted a thread in the TMF about it, yes, his group was deleted, and he was royaly pissed. i think he's gonna go with deviant art to host his pics. i think my site was deleted too, just i haven't checked on it in months so i don't know.

A friend of mine was hit just now in addition to Master N and the others, and his stuff isn't even tickling related, save for a few picture he did for others.

Its probably just some random, disgruntled employee who gets his thrills this way. The greater half of yahoo probably doesn't even know this is happening. And they certainly wouldn't condone it, even if its an assault on the free members, as a free member is a potential paying customer. They wouldn't want these rogues going around ruining sales.

Good point -- it's entirely possible that some rogue sysop is doing this for kicks. I have never seen such random deletions at any other service like MSN or Smartgroups, only at Yahpoo.

The fact that there is no explaination for the deletions, suggests its a purely malicious act and nothing else, which further backs the theory.

yep...a group I was at last month got deleted during the time I was visiting it.
I doubt that it's just groups related to our fetish as well. Most of the adult groups are hidden from non-adults...so I see no reason for the deletions either. It was my understanding that they used to send an email to the group owner before deleting their group. I know two friends who got such emails a year ago.
Whatever the case may be...I hope it ceases to continue as soon as possible.

It won't, because the people doing this know they cannot be caught as long as they don't interact with the people's groups they are deleting. By saying nothing and just deleting the group, theres nothing the group owner could possibily do to either defend themselves or report this abuse.

Obviously the person isn't going to be stupid enough to give you a referal number/case number and tell you where you can go if you have a complaint. The fact they leave no evidence behind is key in them covering their asses, and yahoo isn't going to double-check it's worker's day-by-day activity in regards to free usage of the system.

This person probably does this during their lunch breaks. Its not like its hard to do. No harder than it is for a group owner to delete a messege or their own group.

Sorry for this harsh language, but aren't those dudes a bunch of motherfuckers, that just like to tease other people and make others feel bad... now those... those are the ones, who haven't got a good raising as a child or who have been bullied... now they seek such jobs, which require something similar to this and they delete groups with the thought: "Haha now it's my time!" ... pathetic ;( ok sorry for this post... it just angers me to see such naiiveness

Agreed...justified anger is a good thing.
I know how much time and effort goes into these groups by the founders and other contributors.
There must be some action to take....perhalps an email blitz to Yahoo....or a petition. Though I doubt they'd care too much about their free services.
Ah well...such is life on the web.

First and foremost, stating your case professionally and with tact is very important. And words of wisdom and knowledge are more likely to be heard than a rambling mob. Sometimes you have to speak to executives in their own language, supposing of course thats who our e-mails and letters would be forwarded to, which I'm guessing is not the case.

While it seems like a big deal to us, some middle-management guy probably takes care of this stuff, inparticularly customer service.

Yahoo Customer "Care" is mostly handled by automated systems that scan queries for keywords and then send back a form letter which may or may not be relevant. Most e-mail sent to them is never even seen by a human 🙁
