they did it

They can't pursue Parcells, they just hired from within, Lewand to Pres and Mehew to GM! Parcells with the lions would be a dream and alas will always be!

They have no interest in Cowher, but got premission to talk with Spagnuolo, Garrett, And a few other assistants.

With picks #1, #20, and #33 they need to take their time and pick the right guy!!!!!! Then pick actual players at the draft!! 5 picks out of the first 100!

They can't screw that up can they???????????????????????????????

You would think they have learned their lesson. All we can do is wait and see now.

Dude, the Lions have NEVER even been to the Superbowl to get a chance to choke there!

Yeah I know.

Even WITH the GOAT: Barry Sanders.

In theory, the Lions can't blow this (5 picks out of the top 100).

But they are the lions.

And I think punkrockergirl outlined a good strategy.

A good QB/RB/WR can be found in the 2nd and later rounds.

Kitties need to focus on D (Overall and their Line) and OL.

Offense can be found from unsuspected places.

PUNKROCKGIRL for coach of the lions!!!!!!

your last post made more sense and was more intelligent than anything I've heard from the lie downs in about oh 20 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If really do need to draft Smith first!!!!

as for poor Rex! I like him but we dont need another Erik Kramer!! 🙂

Dante is signed thru next year, so go get O and D line!!!!!!!!!!

Then some LB's and DB's!!!!!!

peace and happy new year!!!1

I hope everyone gets tickled!!! Or tickles!!!!

Detroit would be wise to seriously consider Rex Ryan. If he has the type of personality that can command a teams attention, he would seem like the obvious choice. The Lions have some things going for them offensively. The way to turn them around would be through building a strong defense.

rex defnitily deserves to be a coach he has earned it but i think he will be better off with a veteran team rather than a young team that needs work i think rex would be better off with the jets

Certainly no shortage of jobs out there right now. I'd definitely miss Rex, but he deserves the opportunity.

Maybe you can explain to William Clay Ford what means. I don't think he's heard of it.

oh he knows what it is but he could throw all the money in the world at free agents no one wants to walk into that mess thats the worst place to go outside of oakland
