I can do you one better. Or, perhaps, worse.
One particular day, I was so in the mood to RP that I went in search of some RP forums to join up with, when lo and behold, I discovered that very thing. A tickling RP forum. Excitedly, I joined up and posted my introduction and a little RP-er's profile and sat back to wait.
It took several days of not getting any responses for me to take a close look at the dates and realize that no one had been on or said a frigging thing in that entire forum for about five years.
Needless to say, my head became acquainted with my desk that day...

Happens a lot. A lot of people leave here cuz its not as active as other places

Be there and done that. Not really so much on this website since I've yet to get any private messages sent to me or sending out any private messages to others. But on other websites I have before. I've sent messages to people before and come to find out. That they haven't been seen or logged Into that particular website In a few years or months

The web is a big, big place. Chances are, however much you may have seen of it, you've really barely scratched the surface of what there is to find in the vastness of cyberspace. And much of that space is surely exactly that--space. Abandoned husks of websites long since abandoned and forgotten, online communities left to ruin, the remnants of long-dead threads and conversations still echoing throughout their empty code. Does no-one cry for these crumbling, once-bustling and busy sites? Does no one mourn for the search results on page thirty of a Google search? Is there no one out there, willing ot excavate these ruins and restore to life these ancient ghosts of communities past?
Because dammit, I need more RP partners, and that site was a vacant lot of disappointment and empty dreams... XD
