That's terrible. The article doesn't offer much information. Is there anyone that knows more about it? Why did they refuse to help her?

They are not talking to the media.
911 could not do anything, because technically the people who called were already at the hospital, so they could not take her there when she was there.

But the way this officer talked to this one woman who talked was a total ass the way he handled it. And is now suspended, with an investiation into the matter.

But why didn't the hospital treat her? It's not normal for the ER staff at a hospital to let someone die on the floor if they're aware of it.

Honestly I don't know.
It is being investigated I know that, and many have been let go I believe.
I have family who have had a bad time at the ER. I have had one in pain and shaking, and was promised a pillow or something to lay down on, and was forgotten about.

If they were forgotten about, then someone should've flagged a nurse down and asked them again until they get what they want. Pretty simple to me.
