Never..I avoid concerts due to eardrum damage/deformity since childhood. Even wedding receptions hurt like hell and force me outside within 10 minutes. Every DJ in the world is either deaf or convinced that decibels don't apply to their music cause it's just soooo good.

Simple..

The lyrics speak of a complex loneliness. The person doesn't exactly know what love is, they've reached the end of their definition, now realize that they'll never really find it, they can't change so they're doomed to eternal loneliness. If you think One is a love song you're sadly mistaken.

U2 is my fave band, and "One" is from the Achtung Baby album... their best album in my opinion...

"One" is one of their best songs, and perhaps, a theme song of sorts for me... although I prefer "Love is Blindness" or any number of songs by The Cure or The Smiths for deliciously depressing lyrics...

One of the best misinterpreted songs is "Possession" by Sarah McLachlan. I and many others at first thought it was a love song, but after listening to the lyrics more closely (and after reading an article on Sarah), I discovered that the song is actually a paraphrase of a letter that she received from a stalker. It was a rather creepy revelation, considering it was, at one time, my all-time favorite song....
