This year's "happiest countries"?

I was in a crowded, noisy breakroom at work yesterday, and the ABC world news mentioned that this year's top three countries for happiness were Australia, Norway, and the USA. I didn't catch what their qualifications were.

Did anyone else catch this news article? I tried Google news to verify, but am not finding any stories that corroborate this.

I'm just astonished that we (I live in the USA) made number three. I run into so few people in my daily rounds that seem truly happy.

I want to move to Denmark. Sounds pretty damn awesome there. 'Cept I hear it's hard to become a citizen there.

Dunno. I'm pretty happy to be an American - not so happy with the direction our country seems to be going, but certainly wouldn't give up my place here for anyplace else.

'Cept maybe Hyrule. I'd be pretty damn happy in Hyrule.
