THOR - Ending Credits Scene

To me it seems Loki is manipulating the Doctor or in control of him. The item seems to be the Infinity Cube. I wonder if that is setting up for the Avengers film or for something after.

Rob

Loki is just manipulating Selvig, he isn't in direct control of him.
And the item in question is the Cosmic Cube, which is a definite setup for Captain America and The Avengers.

it seemed as if Thor was too damn arrogant in this movie...I loved it though

Yes, it's the Cosmic Cube (from the angle, it was hard to tell - they should have showed it from a slight side angle!)

I believe Loki got one in the comics at one point, and will probably use it to start all the shit that needs the Avenger's to fix.
It will also be featured in Captain America, as the Red Skull trys to find it.

It is an object that can grant the user near infinite power.
Less powerful than the Infinity Gauntlet created by Thanos from the Inifinity Gems. (Which look so much more picturesque!)

Well boo! Spoiler alert next time please :lion:

Not sure whether Loki got ahold of it in the comics, but Red Skull does get his hands on it for quite a while, and the press release for the Captain America film confirms that he will be looking for it.

I don't get the after the credits bullshit scene...

They did that with He-Man: Masters of the Universe(1987). And, never made the damn sequel.

Loki posesses people in the comics, right? Maybe he is in direct control, and they're just choosing a sort of puppet-master interpretation of posession.
