In terms of watching one be performed?

I'd imagine it is hearing the sound of the action, the vibration of the tummy as laughter takes over and the sound of laughter in response. The squirming and need to protect that vulnerable part is also cute.

In terms of performing one?

Probably all of the above (in so much as is possible) in addition to the sensation of skin on lips and feeling the vibration of the area being tickled and being close to this living, squirming mass of giggly response.

I love the anticipation and suspense that a ticklee experiences especially when we know,feel a rasberry is coming our way ,and it drives me insane when the rasberry is done very spontaneous ,spur of the moment

I think a raspberry tickle is best when you tickle the upperbody for a bit and then finish off by blowing on the bellybutton. It can be quite effective then.

I think the term "raspberry" was originally applied to the oral expression of sticking the tongue out, clamping the lips around it, and blowing past it. Blowing on the belly gives the same sound, so the name was transferred. As to why the word "raspberry" was used for the oral expression, I can only guess--because it sounds like what a raspberry looks and feels like.

I have also heard it called a zerbert. I don't know where the name came from but my boyfriend back in college gave them to me sometimes. I loved them because it just tickled so much!

I didn't know they were also called rasberries until I joined this forum.

Never heard of the alternate zerbert! Hahahaha! Makes sense though!

I too wish the video companies would include this more. Tickle Central (T2D site) leads the pack in them. Virtually all of their videos have them, and at great length.

One of my favorite ones comes in Paradise Vision's "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire Tickler" where this heavy, old man is tickling this gorgeous brunette and all of a sudden completely suprises her by burying his face in her belly and blowing, oh man.....beautiful. The T2D stuff is the best though...Christina Carter always does them great to the lees and so does T2D, especially in the Cecelia Turned Tickle Slave and Cecelia Bedspread and Tickled clips. (look at me giving these companies some plugs! Ok! Someone better send me a t-shirt!)
