Thought on Tickling

I posted this in the mainstream clips section, but I didn't think many people would see it, and I thought it was an interesting idea.

When I originally posted this it was in response to a male cartoon hippo being tickled in a porky pig cartoon.

I think that a lot of the material posted on this site isn't necesarrily a turn-on for some of us. Even if tickling is a turn on, in some instances (like purple hippopotomouses being tortured) I feel that it is more of a collection. Allow me to explain.

I feel that a lot of us spend so much time in this online community that it almost moves from being merely a fetish and the collection of odd mainstream bits and discussions becomes a hobby of sorts.

yeahhhh maybe when I was really little and no tickling ever happened outside my life I would have gotten happy about a hippo...or moglee tickling balloo from the jungle book...but at this point...it does nothing for me hahaha. unless you're a furry with a tickle fetish??? weird...neway. I will agree with you,Shadow! I think this is because mainstream producers and writers have no idea or concept of how erotic tickling can be (or IS to those like us!).Tickling is thrown in almost as an after thought,or simply to be amusing.Even this is done rather infrequently,so it is a rare treasure for those of us into tickling to stumble across a tickle scene or reference in the mainstream media or literature.Thus,we tend to view them more as a collection of snippets,rather than from a fetish point of view.

I am the one who bumped the classic Porky Pig hippo clip. I thought maybe some of our newest members would want to see it in wmv format.

Cartoon tickling is all about fantasy and nostalgia. First, doesn't every tickler wish that everyone they want to tickle is ticklish.
There's where the fantasy aspect of cartoons comes in.

Plus, I had fond memories of first seeing the classic tickling episodes of the 1980's and 1990's.

I think that the tickling images from my youth, such as cartoons and tv shows with innocent fun tickling, actually have the most sexual meaning and energy for me, because they represent the formation and fermentation of my fetish. When I see April O'neil being tickled it triggers my subscious all the way back to when that episode came on the tv while a parent was in the room and I would become red and embarassed for absolutely no reason. Those iconic nostalgic images are perhaps the reason I am the way I am. Ummmmmm, how do we know that it is developed like sexual preferences, instead of some people being born with it. My sister and I both grew up with the same exposure to tickling and we both enjoyed it as much, playfully, then there's my dad who I suspect has a tickling fetish or something similar but haven't asked yet. But I turned out with a tickling fetish and my sis is as vanilla as it gets. How can we know that there are no genetics involved?
