So I've been playing around with AI recently to generate tickle story ideas from prompts I input. I wrote them just for me but I was curious if others might be interested in reading them too.

What are people's thoughts on posting AI-written tickle content in the forum? I know there are some ethical questions around using AI to create content, so I don't want to annoy anybody. I would of course specify when I posted the stories that these we AI.

What do people think? I'm keen for opinions 🙂

If you want to post an AI-generated story then go for it. There are no rules against it, nor reason for you to listen to the rest of us being curmudgeons on the topic. The majority of negative reception to AI-generated stories (at least from what I can see) is that people who don't like them on principle are less likely to comment or thumbs up the post. If you're okay with that, then godspeed to you.

Now since you're specifically asking for opinions and your post is at least tangentially related to the topic: I think using AI to generate content for you is a waste. The value of writing/drawing/painting/whatever artistic endeavor you pursue isn't just in having an end product you can show off to others. There's value in going through the effort to make it. When you write a story yourself you can both develop your skills at writing and take pride in having created something uniquely "yours" even if the audience doesn't seem to love it. Having an AI do all the heavy lifting of hashing out the fine details for you is denying yourself an opportunity to get better at expressing yourself and what you love about tickling.

The TMF is not a forum of professional writers. Most people are more happy to see someone contributing than fussed over the quality of the work. I cannot speak for everyone, but I personally would recommend that if you're going to post a story, you'd be better off having written it yourself than using an AI-generated one.

Thanks for your thoughts, those are all perfectly valid opinions. For context, I'm not personally coming at this from a perspective of wanting to be creative or producing something artistic. I have other outlets for that. I'm purely engaging in this to read manifestations of some tickling fantasies to experience arousal.

I find that I struggle to achieve this when reading my own work, it kind of loses the arousal factor for me if it's something I've written myself, I don't know why. But there are tickle fantasies I would love to see explored in story-form that just aren't currently available as far as I can find. And since I don't personally know any tickle fic writers I could describe these fantasies to and see what they could produce, I figured I would get AI to write them for me using a prompt. I can steer the stories to the fantasies I want, but because I haven't written it directly it still has the arousal factor that I'm looking for.

I thought some others might be interested to read them, but since opinions on AI are so varied at the moment I thought it would be a good idea to do a vibe check before posting.

But thanks again for your comments, they're much appreciated. I'll see what/if anyone else thinks about it all and go from there. Cheers!
