If you're like me and find it hard to talk to people on the phone even when there isn't a crisis going on, there is an option to text with a counselor. Just text HOME to 741741. I also found using this outlet that I was more easily able to avoid having to give personal information. Sometimes you just need a conversation, not all the emergency services.
