Houston has already announced that they will be taking QB David Carr (4,000+ yards, 40+ TD's in 2001) first overall and Carolina seems very likely to grab DE Julius Peppers (6'6", 285 lbs. with the second pick. Massive OT's Bryant McKinnie (6'8", 345 lbs. Hasn't allowed a sack in six years, including practice ) and Mike Williams (6'6", 375 lbs) are almost certain to be top 10 picks April 20th, but who will be the projected late-rounder that goes in the first round? Who will be the projected top 10 pick that falls to the fouth round?

Who are the guys that are going to succeed in the NFL?

Who are the guys that will be out of the league in two years?

I'm interested to see everyones opinions, or if anyone actually gives a diddley-poo about the NFL Draft.

Hmmm *cough cough* you asked for opinions......

I agree with your assessment of the folks you made comments about, so to answer your questions:

"but who will be the projected late-rounder that goes in the first round?"

No clue about this one. This year, there are SO many projected "late" draftees that could go higher. I may be WAY off base, but this year it seems the field is a little more even than in past years...But hey, all my opinions would be clouded by emotion, so I'd better pass on this one....

"Who will be the projected top 10 pick that falls to the fourth round? "

Again, too many to list....I suspect it will be a QB from the Midwest though. (you KNOW who you are!!! LOL)

MOST of my opinions are fueled by emotion, and I, living in Oregon, must be a Quacker first & foremost. Joey Harrington WILL go in the top 10 (I think...I hope...), and I think he has a real future with the NFL. Only thing holding him back is the general perception most folks have of the Pac-10 as a (what was the phrase used earlier this season? "not a real conference?")

Yes, I care mightily about the NFL draft. It shall be interesting to watch & see what transpires!

mmmm...we're getting peppery goodness. Orange julius. He's all...linebackery 😉

the falcons pick 16th or 17th i believe....we signed some offensive lineman and a running back already...we need recievers really bad..plus a safety and would'nt hurt to get more offensive lineman ...so my guess is they will take the smallest defensive lineman and 2 of the slowest running backs they can find with thier first three picks. 🙄

The good news is we will still be able to whup up on carolina. 😛
