Thumbs up to Turner Classic Movies.

I just finished watching Wait Until Dark, a wonderful drama-thriller from 1967 starring Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin, Richard Crenna, Efram Zimbalist Jr. and Jack Weston. The last twenty minutes or so of this film are intense to say the least. When my friend Bill and I saw it at the theater in our little town the climatic scenes scared us half to death.

At 8 Eastern 7 Central Time you can watch the 1941 Orson Welles classic Citizen Kane. Hollywood knew how to make great films in those days. Just my opinion of course.

Just starting on TCM, East of Eden based on the John Steinbeck novel and starring the late James Dean. Sad that James died so young, but what a wonderful film. 😀

Ahhh. Actually wouldn't mind catching a Johnny Weismuller Tarzan flick, or watching Casablanca with a ladyfriend or two.

Thanks Carl. I've seen Ben-Hur so many times I don't care about watching it again, but I do want to catch The Spirit of St. Louis. I have not seen that in a long time.
