I just experienced an example of excellent customer service: TiednTickled. By mistake, I had bought a clip in an advanced .mov format which my old computer couldn't play. So I contacted them, and they went out of their way to help me. Today, I received the clip in .wmv format, and it's perfect!
Why the heck can't other tickle clip producers provide such consideration? I have bought many clips from many different producers, and sometimes I contacted them with some feedback. Some of them replied swiftly and friendly, others didn't even bother to get back to me.
I realize that they can't fulfil the desires of every single customer. They must get dozens of mails requsting "more feet" or "harder tickle torture". My feedback wasn't of that kind. Still, good customer service requires at least some kind of reply, don't you think so?
Some of the producers are just keen to get your money, and they don't care about their customers. One company sold me a clip that contained only background music instead of the original soundtrack, without mentioning this little detail in their offer. They didn't even bother to reply to my complaint.
The worst customer service I ever experienced was from a company called Stacy's Place. I had ordered a one-hour custom video from them for which they charged 500$. The video I got was just 30 minutes and of lousy quality. They promised to reimburse me 250$, but I've been waiting in vain for that check for several years now. And now, they are offering that video with my script on clips4sale, partitioned into several clips! What chutzpah!
So instead of just complaining about the bad service some of the producers offer, I thought I should also mention a shining example of how things could work, if the producers really cared for their customers!
