This is a random post, but I was just watching Tosh.O and the man was making fun of an ear wax fetish, and then brings up the fact that there are all sorts of fetishes such as.... a foot fetish and tickling fetishes. OK yes, my face turned bright red since I have company here LOL. Has anyone ever seen this fetish mentioned on regular T.V. before?
 
Once on G4 I think, and on Tyra, but I would love to see positive exposure of the fetish on tv someday. Not the usual "holy shit look at those wierdos!"
 
A few years back, there was a show called "The Other Half" I think. It was a Dick Clark, Danny Bonaduce and Mario Lopez morning show, sort of like an all-male "The View". Anyway, they did a segment on it once about tickling and they had Yaqi, who has posted his videos on here for a long time on as a "tickling expert". They even pulled a couple from the audience and had the girl sit on a bed with her hands tied together while the guy tickled her for like 5 seconds before she used a safe word and they went to commercial. I'm going to guess this was about 2002.

Yeah, that's Antonia Sabato Jr. He's been an actor for a while. Think he was on Seaquest or something. He was a pretty boy actor who never seemed to really become a real star. At least not in any lasting way.

There was an old late night talk show on G4, back when the channel was still called G4TechTV I can't remember what it was called, but the guy had a very glamorous woman on, probably a pornstar. He was playing some sort of general knowledge quiz with her and he mentioned the exact scientific term for a tickle fetish...I think it starts with a 'K'. And one of the multiple choice answers was 'a person who is turned on by tickling someone' It involved a 2 second sketch with 2 gay guys - one tickling the other with a feather. She actually got it right too from what I remember.
 
Years back in 1996 Pam from SolefullyYours.com (rememer her?) was on phil donahue. I didnt ever catch the show, nor did I ever recieve the videos I ordered from her after she moved to Hawaii, BUT she was on Donahue talking about tickling fetishism and their video company:neenerneener:

Yaqi isn't the best spokesperson for tickling he tends to come off as quite creepy.
 
So are you saying we need to designate a spokesperson for the community then? If so, who would you suggest? lol

Well , accurate . I mean for christ sake when he goes off on one of his tickling rants he does come off as a bit creepy .
 
I would nominate Ryan from Rook's Media. That dude is young, cool, and eloquent. He is the farthest thing from creepy, and he is the nicest guy alive.
 
I've just recently seen the series of the Bachelorette where one of the guys has a major foot fetish. He comes across as a major creep, talking about her feet in every interview! It would be nice to see some positive light shed on our community, its ppl like him that make the vanillas the way they are in relation to fetishists. Im just glad he wasn't into tickling, I cringed enough watching him murder the cred of foot lovers out there lol
