I’ve around the TMF for a long time, haven’t been active as of late, but wife’s currently visiting her folks in the Midwest US (smart girl; it’s gonna be 112°F here where I am today) so I thought I’d plunge in again to see how things are here in the TMF.
So, we’ve talked about attending gatherings (NEST primarily), but my perception is this, and I apologize in advance if I offend someone. I’m speaking in generalities and not specifically about any individual or groups of folks...
Think about going to the DMV or MVD or to the post office. Everyone is there for a common purpose. All walks of life; all socioeconomic, ethnic, gender, political identification, etc. The DMV and the post office are two examples of the flat democratization of all people.
Likewise, a tickle gathering is a flat democratization of people who share one thing.. enjoying tickling.
I’m taking longer than I normally would to express this, cause I have yard work to do today and it’s hot out, and I’m procrastinating, but my question is this...
Most folks gravitate towards relationships with people that are “like” them. Besides our shared love for tickling, did anyone who has attended a gathering connect on other shared interests And form friendships outside of the fetish?
FWIW, my wife is not as hesitant as I am. I’m kinda introverted, which is weird because I’m a salesperson.
Appreciate any replies. Thanks y’all!
