Yes, I agree. Further testing must be done in the name of ...uh...science. Yeah, science. 
Or at least a thorough reexamination of the tickling technique is in order to rule out such a possibility. TO THE CLIP!!

EDIT: In my opinion, the mates are clearly tickling harder/more vigorously. The cause of the egg drop though is probably a combined effect of both less resistance (at least at the subconscious level) and increased confidence on the part of the 'ler in actually tickling.
