Tickled in a Dream

I can't say I have tickling dreams anymore.(Currently,I don't have a recollection of any dreams),But when I was younger,I'd have many tickling dreams that,frustratingly, had me as the ticklee.(And all of these dreams had my feet as the target).
My earliest dreams,as a pre-schooler,involved more creature-related ticklers,which I believe I obtained from watching cartoons and reading story books and anything else that occupied a kid's imagination in the conscious state.
When I entered public school my ticklers became actual schoolmates and just kids I saw at school but didn't necessarily know well.
Interestingly,I'd seek to perhaps try to tickle them back in the conscious world.
I remember a girl in school,who visited me in a dream,that I met at a summer picnic.I got to chase and catch her.She tried to get away and I grabbed her ankle and tickled her slightly rough bare sole,(she had run around bare foot all summer),and she squealed a squirmed to get away!
Sadly,any chances of being a tickler in my dreams usually didn't work out.Most times I'd wake up from the excitement of the big moment happening in the dream!!😡
I even tried a form of mental telepathy,envisioning a tickling senario towards a known dream invader,and trying to mentally send this to wherever the target may be sleeping in town.
I never noticed that it worked the next day at school nor did I ask the classmate what he dreamed about the previous night!
It probably could have resulted in real life tickling🙂 Then again,it might have lead to references of "weirdo!"

My earliest pubescent tickle dreams involved a girl who lived around the block from me, and couldn't stand me. I'd get my revenge in my dreams, I'd have her pinned down for hours without a breath or a break; and I would wake up with this mysterious wetness that was merely added stress upon everything else in my life at that time...

I dated a fellow ticklephile for quite awhile, and while he was dreaming would start tickling me in his sleep! And he was relentless at it! And then would just roll back over on his back and be completely still again. It was hilarious and I loved it!

I will have dreams where I finally get a woman that I have been wanting toi tickle, whether it be a celebrity or someone I know, and at the point of tickling them, no laughter comes out. I wake up very frustrated, and the urge to tickle someone becomes greater. 🙁
Of course, it doesn't help being married to someone who isn't ticklish....

I can't even win in my dreams!!😡

Its been awhile (maybe a year) since I had one...but the tickling is usually me tickling some stranger...or seeing someone get tickled.

Dream interpretation

I just recently was looking up dream interpretation on the internet. For those of you not familiar with dream interpretation, it's based on the theory that the subconscious uses symbolism to "communicate" with you I guess you could say, while you sleep. So if you have a dream involving tickling, the theory goes, the tickling represents something else that has nothing to do with tickling. To dream that you are being tickled, signifies non-stop worries and sickness. To dream that you are tickling others, denotes that your weakness and foolishness will hinder you to have any true enjoyment in life.

I love my tickling dreams. I am usually the lee and the ler has changed a lot over the years. I too started out with "tickle monsters" and then it would be parents or teachers, then boys once I hit adolescence.

As for interpretations, I have a friend who does dream interpretation. All the books out there have different opinions because dream interpretation is as different as each person. What something means in your dreams depends on what it means to you as a person. If you defined the word "tickled" (or "tickling" if you're the ler) in your own personal dictionary, you would get at the root of what it means in your dreams.

In my personal dictionary, next to the word tickled it might say...

Tickled: to be brought to a state of euphoria where the slightest touch can bring out gales of laughter and joy.

with me, I'm always the ler in my dreams. Most of the time I know the person, but sometimes I don't. Sometimes I don't know the person but in my dream I do. Like it's a person I made up in my head for some reason. But it's been a while since i've had one but once in a while I lay in bed and thank about tickling hoping I'll have one...which doesn't always work...

But that dream interpretation. I believe in it a little. Some dreams do have meaning behind it, and some are deep, but when it comes to my tickling dreams, all they mean are that i haven't done enough tickling in my real life that I have to do it in my dreams (which makes me wonder why I haven't been dreaming about it lately) or I'm just...yeah

woah, i was just thinking about the super vivid dream i had the other day where someone was tickling my neck, which is like my worst spot. you know you have the like not so ticklish spots that just make you squirm a little, then you have the spots that make you laugh but you can stand it, and then you have the spots where are just like 'oh my god, no way' lol and my neck is definitely the latter, so anyway, it was crazy cuz i woke up and i could like feel it, i dunno how to explain it, but it was definitely weird...
