Tickles For Seancing? (The Umbrella Academy Fic (Klaus Hargreeves & Diego Hargreeves)
Firstly, wow, it's been a long time since I've been on here. I hope you guys are doing well with your lives. If you want to keep in contact with me, you can find me on Tumblr, DeviantArt and if you like my writing, Ao3. This was part of a Secret Santa thing on Tumblr called Squealing Santa. This is my contribution to that from 2019.
Secondly, I don't know if this is known to all writers, but / means romantic pairing and & means platonic pairing. This helps to ensure that people know what they're reading when reading my work. This is a M & M pairing, a brother tickling another brother. If you don't like that, don't read.
Thirdly, this may contain spoilers. So, beware if you haven't seen The Umbrella Academy yet.
Lastly, all grammatical errors belong to me.
Once upon a time, the Umbrella Academy was home to seven peculiar foster children with special abilities, who were all not only born on the same day; but also the day they were conceived. Though they all came from different parents and background, they all were raised by Sir Reginald Hargreeves and considered each other family and loved one another; some even going as far to say they were in love with one another, but that's a story for another day. The Hargreeves siblings have been through a lot with one another and went through stages where they fought one day and fooled around the next.

There were two particular boys that loved to mess with the other siblings, including each other ; by doing various annoying things. Klaus once got the silent treatment from Vanya for a month for not only stealing her violin; but losing it in the process while Diego often got a black eye here and there for tempting his younger brothers.

Number Five was a particular favorite of the boys as he was extremely ticklish and was easy to anger to the delight of both Diego and Klaus.

As much as they loved teaming up together to annoy the others to no end, they more often than not targeted each other. They wanted a challenge, and getting one another was a challenge for neither were extremely ticklish unless you knew where to get them. If you knew where to find their spots, all you'd have to do was tease them while you went at it. Both got easily flustered and angry in Diego's case.

Klaus attacked when the other least expected it as he liked the element of surprise causing the targeted sibling to laugh more out of surprise than the actual tickling. He'd jump on Diego's back; digging in Diego's hips all while saying something stupid like “Klaus' got your knife pockets!”

Diego on the other hand wanted his victim to know that he was coming for them so that they were already laughing by the time he actually attempted it.

“Why are you laughing? I haven't even started yet” he chuckled as he dug for Klaus belly. Neither were

They made a pretty good team and and oftentimes enemies when they felt like it. This went on for several years up until they all moved out and lost touch.

It wasn't until several years later, shortly after their father's death that they all reunited. Five just appeared from a mysterious portal looking like he was still thirteen years old and after the initial shock, things were just as they were when they were kids – minus the sexual tension between Luther and Allison.

All of the Hargreeves siblings (minus Ben; may he rest in peace) were scattered around in the Hargreeves Home. Klaus got some insane idea about maybe being tied up in a chair would help him figure out how to use his seance powers purposefully. Ben made an appearance every now and then even when he wasn't wanted. Diego was tying him up annoyed that he already had to tie him up only for Klaus to say he had to pee. Once Klaus was secured, Diego stood back and crossed his arms; still looking amused at having to entertain this idea.

“So, how do we do this?”

Klaus looked up at Diego, slightly slumped over his chair as she thought.

“I – I don't know!”

“What do you mean you don't know?”

Diego took a step closer and uncrossed his arms. Klaus flinched thinking he was going to get hit but the blow never came. He tried and failed to compose himself as he gave Diego a pitiful look.

“I don't know!” he repeated a bit louder and frantic.

“Klaus - “ Diego said in warning and the man in questioned looked anywhere but at Diego.

“Look. Maybe I just need to … “

“Need to what?” Diego said in exasperation.

“I don't know. I was in danger last time I was able to conjure the dead!” Klaus mumbled.

“Danger? Do you want me to hit you? Maybe you're body will realize you're in danger then!”

“No!” Klaus said quickly “No. Just, maybe we just need to trick my body into thinking it's in danger”

“And how do you suppose we do that?” Diego fingered the knife he always kept on him. Klaus must've thought Diego was going to use it on him because he quickly mumbled something unintelligibly.

“What?”

Klaus looked flustered but look in Diego's eyes. “I said you c-could tickle me?” Diego arched an eye.

“You want me to tickle you?”

Klaus wasn't sure why he was so flustered as he was the one to have thought of the idea.

“Yeah … I mean, you could threaten it...Tease me. Like the old days. “ The words felt like sand on his tongue but he plowed on. “M-maybe my brain will click on and - “ Klaus shrugged helplessly as Diego looked on at him, disbelief written on his facial features.

“You do know we're not kids anymore … besides … you're not even that ticklish!”

Klaus just continued giving him what Allison and Vanya had dubbed the lost puppy look and Diego shrugged.

“Aw, why the hell not. It's better than nothing and if nothing else, I can pull out the knife later” he walked behind Klaus, making the younger man attempt to turn his head so he could face his brother.

“Diego? What are you – Eep!” He nearly jumped out of his skin as he felt rough fingers skittering across his sides. “Wait! I wasn't ready!” he exclaimed, only half begging.

“What? You wanted this.” Klaus could hear the smirk in Diego's voice as fingers continued skittering against his sides. He wasn't sure why, but it felt a lot more ticklish than he remembered. Or maybe it was the multiple exposure to the drugs that made his brain think he was more ticklish than he was.

“W-wahahait!” Tiny giggles burst through Klaus lips as she squirmed in his seat; but he was successfully tied up. “It's not working!” he shrieked when Diego dug into his hips.

“Damn Klaus! I forgot how much of a girl you used to sound like til now.” Diego stopped for a moment so he could face Klaus once more. “ And you're redder than a blushing bride. Is the tickling really bothering you that much?” He made sure to enunciate tickling as it got a rise out of his younger brother.

“Shut up!” Klaus mumbled and Diego poked his belly causing the seance to actually squeak.

“You're really in no position to be making any snide comments, squeak” Diego poked various parts of Klaus's neck with each syllable. It was driving him mad.

“Quhihihit it, man!” Klaus words were slurred with mixtures of laughter and the drugs that he had taken earlier that day; which made him very hard to concentrate on the tickling much less than the task at hand.

After what seemed like hours, which was only a few minutes, Diego finally realized that Klaus had enough and stopped his assault. It took his brother a moment to catch his breath, but once he did, he glared at his brother.

“What?” Diego said, raising his hands. “You're the one that wanted to be tickled. Sue me!”

There was no response and Diego turned towards the door.

“I'm guessing tickling isn't the solution here. I'm going to leave you here in the dark in the hopes that you'll find father. See you later little bro!” and with that he was off.
