My SO and I use music more for mood. If we want sensory deprivation, we'll use earplugs. I love the increased intensity! We like a lot of different things to add to that.

I always thought the sensory deprivation thing would be cool but others have pointed out it would be a shame to not hear the taunts of the ler.

Wow... up until I read this... I was thinkin'... "headphones... sensory deprivation... not a bad idea." Then you go and bring this up. I gotta agree... the taunts of a 'Ler certainly is a form of music all on it's own.

But now... like you said... I gotta try the other... at least just once.

Well LK70 and Ms Chaos, I'll volunteer my Ler talents to help you fing out. Each one of you can have two tickle times with me. The first with blindfolds and headphone and the second with out and you can decide which is better.

What I did this summer, which worked a treat, was to get the sound of laughter from as many different clips as I could get my hands on and made one long track of laughter, blending into each other. So I put the earphones on my girlfriend, and blindfolded her, all while she was tied spreadeagle. I hit play and wnet to town on her. She loved it but said it was really freaky not being able to tell if she was laughing or if it was the track. There was a point where I stopped tickling her completely and she would laugh hysterically as if I was still tickling her. I recommend it! 😀

NIce Irish that is very interesting. That brings up the question of does the sound of laughter invoke more laughter.
