Tickling approaches: Role-playing

Let's see if I can get some responses before this thread drops off the list. LOL. I was just curious to see peoples' opinions on using role-play scenarios when in a tickling situation. Do you think it adds to it, or just is a waste of time? Do you even use it, even just in your mind pretending? And if it is used, how far do you go, i.e. costumes, setting, etc.? Happy to discuss it and share my thoughts a little later on, after some responses (hopefully).

Role-playing has a definite time and place where it is not only appropriate but also great fun.

We had a scene at my house where the house was transformed into the Sultan's Palace complete with draperies on the walls, candle light, a fog machine, special music and equipment that would knock your socks off. You truly weren't in San Jose any longer, you were out in the desert somewhere. Dressing up like a sultan or a harem girl seemed appropriate and added to the scene.

But play without role-playing is great fun as well. It all depends on what you want at the time and how quickly you can improvise and make up your lines.

I definitely feel there's a time and a place for it, as well as the desires of the party(s) involved. In my (unfortunately), very limited experience combining it with tickling... FIREWORKS! I see it really as just creativity and imagination, attributes which seem to enhance most any activity.

Totally love the idea of role-playing scenerios with tickling.
Never really had the chance to do one, always hoping for that one awesome time. 🙂

I'm boring, I like the interrogation of the stubborn but insanely ticklish female spy. Eh... or Batgirl. 😉

I used to enjoy role plays in the first five or six years with my former wife, before my kids arrived on this planet. We both were amateur actors, and we didn't have elaborate decorations for the surroundings, but a vivid imagination can go a long way. So we played Tarzan and Jane, Robinson Crusoe and his ticklish female servant 'Friday', Maid Marian with the Sheriff of Nottingham or Robin Hood, Burglar and the Sleeping Beauty, Alien or Mad Scientist experimenting with ticklishness, KGB interrogations (even in Russian which we both could speak), the Plumber and the Seductive (or Bitchy) Housewife… (Sigh! What wonderful memories!)

My wife preferred the ticklee role, and I liked the active role better, but we made sure that the tables were turned from time to time. Those roles plays never allowed boredom, and it certainly kept our libido VERY active! 😀
