Tickling as criteria in choosing marriage partner

I wonder how important for you the tickling factor is in choosing a significant other/marriage partner. Do you try to get involved only with other people who really dig tickling, or do you get involved with someone and try to convert him/her, or are you satisfied only with visiting the forum and chatting with other ticklephiles?

Also, a question to those married to non-ticklephiles: have you tried to convert them, do you keep it secret from them, would you rather go back in time, if you could, and marry a fellow ticklephile, etc.?

If there already was such a thread and you could point to it, I'd appreciate it. I just can't search through all the forum backlog.

I tried to convert my ex… it didn’t go so well.

After my marriage ended, I would only date people I already knew to be into it. Now, I am weeks away from living with (and three years into a relationship with) a man who loves it almost ( 😛 ) as much as I do.

Wish him luck… the poor boy is going to be exhausted! 🙂

The only criteria? Of course not. Would I try to convert a girl who was a non ticklephile, to get her to allow me to tickle her on a regular basis? I would try. Could I accept her not converting, and be allowed to tickle her on an occasional basis? I could live with that, if she had all the other qualities. Would I like to be married to someone who was not at all ticklish, or who, if she was, prohibited me from tickling her ever? That I would not like, and probably could not do, or it would be very, very difficult, and not unless she had all the other qualities in a woman that I wanted.
To me, there is a wide spectrum, and I am one who believes in discussion, compromise, and giving, so hopefully, even if my wife wasnt into tickling, I could still work with her, to at least get some on an occasional basis, if nothing else.

I have only recently discovered TMF, so I didn't really realize there was people who loved tickling like this. I've always loved being tickled, theres nothing like the uncontrolable laughing..so fun!

Anyway, when my husband and I met I was hoping he was ticklish, but most of all I was hoping he would enjoy tickling me too. We were dating a couple of weeks when I met his sister and her 2 daughters. It was then I got to see what I wanted..my husbands 2 neices having a tickle fight with him! I took my chance a couple of days later and started poking him in the ribs, but to my dismay he didn't fight back. So this went on..I would tickle him just a little bit, and he would just take it so nicely, then one day I said "you never fight back!" and that was it for me. Since those words came out of my mouth I have been tickled everyday mercilessly! 😛oke3:

I already knew that we had a connection, and I already knew that i was falling in love with him, so even if he didn't like tickling I would still have married him. I don't think he knows that there are people who really enjoy tickling either, but he loves to tickle the heck out of me!

fortunate for me

i actually have a gf thats into tickling as much if not more than i am. she likes to try and wrestle with me knowing that she will be tickled to death when she doesnt give up. i felt like i hit the lottery when i met her. she has all the other qualities that i look for in women that i look for as well.
