Tickling at Renfaires shouldn't this be illegal?

Sounds illegal? ...Well it is.

What am I talking about? The American Renfaire in which faire visitors are placed in stocks and tickled on thier feet along with being beaten on thier soles, and having itching powder applied to them. Not to mention that they are gagged. In one such clip you make out a girl saying "Please help me" and "No please", to which the faire worker blatanly ignores her. In another you hear a girl clearly scream as she is being beaten. If what happens at these faires is real why hasn't this guy KJ been arrested or aleast sued? Can someone clear this up for me?

Put your righteous fury away, ragazzo. That does not happen at the American renfaire. There is a troupe of players thanks to Kujman who provides that entertainment, but they are all willing participants because, again, they are players in the troupe.

I think the videos you are referring to are the "sorority initiation" videos. If that's the case, there are a couple of things that must be addressed:

1. These girls knew what they were up for and knew they would have to endure the hazing. Was hazing illegal back then? I don't know, but I do know they willingly participated.
2. These videos were not supposed to be leaked in order to protect their privacy. However, as part of the deal, I believe the sorority said Kuj could keep the videos for himself. A counterpart of his leaked the videos, but I don't know the whole story there.

Does this mean "hazing" is right or legal or that there weren't some boundaries crossed? Not necessarily, but the sorority was in on it, and I think that's the real issue -- the girls were willing subjects. Also, the leaders would have told him when enough is enough.

As for the renfaire scenarios, Kuj was a willing participant in those as well as his friends. Strangers were tickled for a fee. If the public witnessed him caning their soles, he certainly would have been reported by one of the many bystanders there, don't you think?
If you're interested, do some research, or better yet, talk to Kuj himself -- he will be happy to explain. Trust me. I hope this clears some things up.

I have no idea where you were at but the Renaissance fair I was at had no such thing.I only saw a dungeon that had just the torture devices on display with a sign telling you what it was used for.
