Tickling motions

Hello all,
You might find this as a weird question, but please humor me as there is a reason for it.


Suppose you are using static implements (feathers, brushes, and other items except electric ones), What is the best motion that generates the best tickling reaction? is it circular? vertical/horizontal? digging inside?

And would you use a different motion on different parts of the body?

Hairbrush - rapid up down heel to toe on feet.

Watercolor brush - in bellybutton either swirling the brush around the rim or probing the knot.

For the feet, back and forth horizontally, between the wrinkles when they start to appear as occurs with a lee's clenching. Do thiswith a long, soft, pointy feather tip- one that flutters, or a soft artists brush until the muscles of the soles loosen up... Then you can tickle as deep as you want.

Which 'lee(s) said I was just "going through the motions"?.......OMG! Do they have a clip? I can explain everything......oh, wait.... 😉 Going up and down along the length of the soles with hairbrush or blunt probe. Using short up and down AND circular motions just under, between and on the toes with a paint or makeup brush!!

in my tickling experience I've noticed that moving the fingers slowly up and down the soles of the feet from heel to the toes tends to bring fourth alot more laughter

a paintbrush for the stomach and then switch over to the wooden end and poke the ribs.
