Tickling Not As Exciting As It Used To Be?

Back in the 70s, if I saw anything related to tickling (book, movie clip, etc.), it was very exciting. I would watch it or read it over and over. Now with tickling available any time you want by merely walking to your computer, I find that have been desensitized to it. I'll see a clip and you'll see someone being tickled and it looks the same as any other clip I see. And it doesn't matter how pretty the girl is or how ticklish she is. Has anyone else experienced this?

Funny, I was just talking to a friend about this the other day. I find that while *anything* tk related affected me once upon a time, these days it has to be done well by my standards to be thrilling and worthy of repeat viewing. Mainstream scenes are usually done the way I like it, but video companies don't usually do it for me anymore

Erm... i have experienced this but not in that way. Basically I watched the news report of Yagis tickling website and after watching I thought, "Holy shit. I tend to agree with Mil's here.The internet,and the TMF in general has opened a new world for me,as i have had a chance to get to know some people who share my intrest,and i will hopefully be meeting some of them in person soon.I found the old days very frustrating,as i felt like i was very much alone in my love of tickling.

..I think it is common to desensitise when a human is saturated to "sameness" for long periods of time. It is the argument why children shouldn't watch a lot of violence at an early age....why vanilla pornography becomes boring and men crave more and more unsual scenarios...and why children in middle eastern countries can pack a rifle....witness military violence and join in without blinking an eye..Its over exposure. THis is a good point, and the reason why I don't partake of every single tidbit of tickling I see here or anywhere else. I don't want to lose that edge that I've always had, and there is so much junk out there now, that it dilutes the waters.

Online tickling is incredibly boring lately. I don't really get all that excited about it anymore, and it's all pretty much the same. Now and then something great will come that excites me, but not often.

I've never tickled anyone that I was attracted to, so I have no idea whether real tickling can do it for me or not, but tickling is at least really fun to do. =)

I have. But it might actually be because I'm very privvy to tickling IRL. To be honest, I just visit the art forums.

You know what cloudgazer...you need to step back from watching clips and being on TMF and realize what you have!!!
Replace tickling with sex and you have the issue that most relationships have...keeping things interesting.
I wouldn't go looking for others to join with you, I would just not visit here as often or don't watch clips or look at pics and then see how tempting CS's feet are...

I can completely relate to this thread, when I first was on USENET soo many years ago, a story ANY story or a pic was just great, I would think about the story or the image would be burned into my head...and and then someone posted some .mpg's that were 10 seconds long but OMG.
Now we have clips and pics and stories all over, oh and artwork.

tommy...none taken. honestly, it's something she is interested in and we are working slowly towards it. and she has just as much fun watching clips as i do, believe it or not.
and replacing tickling with sex? banish the thought! more often than not we combine the two! but, with the way things have been lately, and having some new roommates for a little longer, we just haven't been able to be as experimental or imaginative like we want. therein lies the problem.
