Earlier in the week, as I was sorting through movies since we have a lot and we're trying to catelog them to be easier to find, I discovered a movie which may or may not have led me, as a child, to delight in tickling and have affected me later in life (like... now.) It's called The Magic Trolls and the Troll Warriors. You all know the magic trolls dolls with the gemstones in their tummies, right? Well this was a movie in a series of them they did where the minute, tiny, itty bitty magic trolls that you can hold in your hand are fighting to get the kingdom back from an evil king that doesn't allow anyone to laugh or sing or be happy and his enforcer is this like evil wizard guy.
Well anyway, the magic trolls team up with the good princess whose father was banished by the evil king when he took over the kingdom, and they tickle all the bad guys. The Wizard starts to chant a spell and their bird advisor guy (can't remember his name and he's got hair like a troll so won't try to suggest a species) he says "Make a wizard laugh and you weaken his power! Tickle attack!" and they all jump on the wizard and they're like 6 inches tall so they're scrambling all over him and he starts cackling and laughing and.. well, you get the idea, I'm sure... but anyway, that's what I think contributed to my unusal (but obviously not unique!) taste for what we all seem to do best.
What do you think caused yours? A movie? A book? An overzealous best friend? ^.^
