Now I always enjoy teasing the lee' as she's being tickled but has anyone ever asked where the most famous tickle taunt came from? Of course I mean "kitchie-kitchie-coo!". I know it sounds like baby talk but people say it to adults too. Any thoughts or ideas how tickling has become associated with this word? 😕

What an interesting question!

I have no idea, but I'd be willing to bet that it's derivative of some language... look at the German word for tickling, I wonder if maybe it's from Hebrew or an older language? I betcha! And it's fairly universal, too... you go just about anywhere and they're going to know what you're talking about when you say it... I love understanding word & phrase origins! Hopefully, somebody more learned than ourselves has a better idea!
