Tickling Tools - Feet and my GF

Hey all,

I was wondering if you could help me with some insight here. I have been a ticklephile for as long as I can remember with a lot of experience but could use some help from other experienced 'lers.

The basic situation is that my current gf is hella ticklish, but her feet are hit and miss and are very particular in terms of what gets a good reaction in her feet vs not. For example, a hairbrush with lotion or oil does nothing, but my fingers can get an ok reaction if I hit her in the right spots on her feet in just the right way with pressure, speed, etc. But the reaction dies off rather quickly, say a minute or so, then she isn't ticklish there anymore. Psychological ramp up has helped a lot, but that is also hit and miss. I want to find something that works consistently and gets the extreme reactions out of her feet that I have witnessed and know exist.

She and I are really into each other and are compatible in every way. Except this, which is a bummer, because I really like ticking feet. So I would like to find a solution. She is definitely ticklish there, she'll go nuts during a pedicure, and if i do it exactly just right, so I know there is a solution.

I just need to find the right tools.

So I ask all of you, anyone with any input here? I have a lot of ideas but dont know the names of the things I think would work well... so I can't find them online. Such as the little prickly pointy stiff plastic brushes (I dont even know if it is classified as a brush), different kinds of exfoliators, whatever those silicone glove things are that French Tickling uses, etc.

Can anyone help out here?

Have you tried tickling her after a bath or shower? Warm feet are more sensitive. Pinwheels (Wartenberg wheels) have gotten results for me on less-than-sensitive feet. Good luck!

Have you tried things that vibrate like a Sonicare toothbrush or one of those battery operated flossers that Real Tickling used to use?

Buy a pair of metal guitar picks to use on her feet, especially her toes. And it seems like it's more about light touch, so you're probably going too rough because youre so excited to just do what the videos show
But if you're compatible in every way I dont see why the fact that her feet arent as crazy ticklish as other spots would be so important either

This is one of the tools that has been on my radar thank you for the name of it and your experience with it. Have you used a single head/single wheel, or one with multiple heads/wheels on it?

Have you tried just causally tickling her? Like no bondage or anything too 'arranged'? The reason I ask this is because some people automatically go into the freeze-state when they know before hand or if they're being tied down (kind of a weird affect of human evolution. It's like the mind is prepping for torture.) I'm not saying do anything non-consensual, I'm just assuming you're at a state in your relationship where you can freely touch each other and it doesn't come off as inappropriate or creepy.

Also, a bit of back and forth between the feet and upper-body can help. I've met lots of women who get desensitized to their feet being tickled but as my last girlfriend put it "if you can keep me laughing, it's hard to stop." I'm a big fan of foot tickling, hence the name, but learning how to tickle the upper body massively improved my tickling technique and vice-versa.

The key point I'm making here is keep them guessing. If it's too predictable or obvious, it's not going to have the results you want. Try to balance out the tortuous aspect of ticking with some more sensual aspects to it as well. We all talk a lot about technique on the forums but it's not emphasized enough that a huge portion of tickling involves the psychological/social aspect. Which makes sense as tickling is mostly a form of social communication. I've seen people go ballistic from feathers, which makes no sense, but it's not always about the tools - it's about the way you're relating to each other in that moment.
