My absolute fave video's one I bought from one of the mods here, several years ago, of her and her husband. I love it to no end, because it's hilarious. The husband is a ler with a great sense of humor, and is a natural before a camera. That the wife might be one of the greatest lees ever, of course, is a great advantage. I found myself laughing almost as much as she did, because it was both funny, and fun. Nothing mass produced about it.
I'm sick and tired, primarily, of the sameness in everything that's out there. It's become boring as hell. All the girls look the same, all the girls laugh the same, everyone on God's Green Earth has to pull out a hairbrush, as if on cue, or a Sonicare, there's absolutely no imagination whatsoever anymore, or spontenaity. Hard enough to convince anyone that not everybody likes girls who weigh twelve pounds soaking wet...but that's really neither here nor there. The point is, the sameness has become boring. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

To Rooks, Zen and all other producers, thanks so much for all you do. In no way I'm saying your work is "bad." That's why I wanted to make clear that this wasn't a criticism, "you suck" type of thread. Far from it.
Rooks brought up business decisions, and I totally agree and understand that. I know there's no way to make everyone's dream come true in a tickling video, you just have to do the best to meet as many people's qualities as possible.
Sometimes I think the people in the video help a lot in fixing the monotony as well. Some videos have the same setup, but sometimes it's the right people that make it work. Maybe that's what I'm feeling. Some videos I see, the people involved are totally into it and you can tell they are and you get involved. Sometimes, not so much. So I think chemistry can make even the same tickling scenario feel different, just like movies or TV.
Making my own videos? Trust me, I've thought about it a time or two... but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Or how to keep my identity a secret while doing so, ha ha. Tips would be greatly appreciated. But to be honest, if I did them, without much guidance, this thread would be about my OWN videos, ha ha!
Again, just want to reiterate I am in no means trying to criticize the work of producers or start a fight over people's personal tickling preferences. I'm not trying to be a spoiled brat who wants the moon with each video. Just trying to think of ways in general to see variety in tickling videos (like the chemistry of the lee and ler). Stuff like that.
I hope no producers took offense to this, because there was no offending meant to give.

I also want to point out that I respect tickling video producers who are genuinely into tickling, and that's why they make videos. I hear a lot, especially from the older ticklephiles, that tickling videos were in the hands of people who didn't really care about or get the fetish, and it showed in their work. So I thank you for showing your passion in the videos your produce. Kudos to you!

It's the same thing. If everything is looking the same and it's just "ho hum," step away from tickling material for a bit. When you come back to it, the thrill will be back.

There does seem to be a certain formula that most if not all producers follow in most if not all of their clips. The tickling industry seems to have found a "sweet spot" that generates maximum sales, and understandably they're sticking to it.
The tickling community is much smaller than the kink community in general. That means that a producer who wants to make money has to identify the largest group within that small community and target it as exactly as possible. Other groups of tickling fans represent small slices from a pie that is already pretty small, and usually won't be profitable to market to.
I'm afraid this means that tickling erotica is likely to get more homogeneous rather than less for the foreseeable future.
