Ticklish Mouse Issues

This isn't a problem with the board so much as with my mouse. About a week ago, it became really REALLY sensitive to the touch. For instance, when I want to highlight a picture from my files with a single click, the thing will go ahead and show me(not every time, but often enough to drive me nuts) the whole picture(and I'm not set for one-click browsing, either). As another for-instance, when I click on a smiley, I'll at times get two of the things. Same with features like "bold", "italics", and so forth. As yet another for-instance: When I page scroll down using the clicker, it'll sometimes go past what would be a typical page-scroll.

I hope this doesn't sound too confusing. Has anyone else ever experienced this? It's terrible frustrating when doing certain tasks. Any advice, serious or sarcastic, is appreciated.

Check the inside of the mouse, like where the ball is. There mightbe dust on the ball, or there might be something in the ball chamber. Blow it out and re attache the ball and cap, and you're ready to go perhaps.
