Since I'm someone who lives in and is from New York, I was curious who else lives in New York?
 
I do. I'm kinda new here. Been reading stories here a while, but only recently joined...
Well, not in the city... I'm up past the Adirondacks...

Definitely not. There are people into it scattered throughout the state, with a large contigent down in the New York City area, as you might expect given the many millions of denizens in and around that metropolis.

In fact, Albany used to be quite the hot spot; an annual gathering was held there every year, around Super Bowl time, which rivaled NEST's attendance and regional if not national significance, but it's since fizzled out. Too bad, I'd always wanted to go, but fortunately I've met some of its leaders elsewhere IRL.
 
Well that's good to know! Oh wow, really? I never knew that, super close to were I live!
 
I'm up near Watertown, NY here. I'm roughly an hour or so from Syracuse
