Here is a fun story I came up with featuring Tim Tebow being tickled. With football season starting, I thought it would be a fun idea! 😀
On the sprawling outdoor set of SEC Nation, nestled just outside Hard Rock Stadium, sight of the National Championship Game, the energy was electric. A sea of vibrant hues of every SEC school, roared in the background, a living, breathing testament to the passion of the conference. Laura Rutledge, the show’s effervescent host, smiled warmly into the camera, her eyes sparkling with a genuine joy that had made her a fan favorite. Beside her, the panel—Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers, Paul Finebaum, and of course, the legendary, Tim Tebow—shared the relaxed energy of a season’s work well done.
“Welcome back to SEC Nation, live from Miami!” Laura’s voice was clear and bright. “We have had an unbelievable season traveling across the greatest conference in college football, but as you know, it’s not just the games on the field we’ve been tracking. We’ve also had our own little competition right here at this desk.” A graphic popped up on screen: "SEC NATION PICKS - SEASON STANDINGS." A drumroll sound effect played. "And the winner is...me!!" Laura cheered triumphantly. The others at the desk applauded as Laura fake bowed in her chair, "Thank you, y'all," She accepted the congratulations sweetly. "Also, as you can see, in last place...our beloved Tim Tebow!" The camera zoomed in on Tim, who managed a good-natured, if slightly pained, smile. He threw his hands up in mock surrender as the crowd good-naturedly jeered. "It had to be somebody, right?" Tim conceded. "I promise I will be better next season!" He vowed. Roman Haper then chimed in, "Hey that might work out for you just like the last time you publicly promised something." As he patted Tim on the shoulder, to which the crew chuckled, and the camera then went back to Laura.
“Now, as per the rules we all agreed upon back in August,” Laura’s grin widened, the glint in her eye turning positively wicked. “The loser of our picks contest is subject to a punishment of the winner’s choosing. Tim, being the incredible competitor and man of his word that he is, agreed to pay his debt this morning. We thought you all might like to see how that went. Roll the tape!”
The scene changed to the pristine sands of Miami Beach. The morning light was soft and forgiving, the turquoise water lapping gently at the shore. Laura Rutledge, now in a simple t-shirt and rolled up jeans, stood facing the camera, her feet bare in the sand. “Good morning, everyone!” she said, her smile somehow even wider and more genuine in the natural light. “So, as you just heard, my dear friend and colleague Tim Tebow had a bit of a rough season with his picks. But he’s a man of his word, and he’s ready to face the music!" The camera then panned down to ground level. There, buried up to his neck in a meticulously sculpted mound of sand, was Tim Tebow. The sand was packed so perfectly around his torso and up to his neck. Only his head, with a slightly amused expression, and his two bare feet, sticking straight up out of a smaller mound about six feet away, were visible. He was utterly and completely immobilized. “That’s right!” Laura narrated with glee. “Tim’s punishment for his dismal picking performance is to be buried on this beautiful beach. But that’s not all. You see, the real penalty isn’t the sand. It’s what happens when you have absolutely no way to defend yourself.” She walked over to the end of the sandy tomb where his feet were exposed, wiggling his toes for the camera. “Tim here has always proven to be tough, unflappable, and a warrior on and off the field. But I’ve heard a little rumor, a whisper in the wind, that he has a tiny, little weakness.” She sat down in the sand beside his feet, a look of pure, unadulterated mischief on her face. Tim’s eyes widened from the other end. “Now, Laura, let’s talk about this,” he started, his voice had a nervous tremor. "Too late for that, Timmy! You had your chance with your picks!" And with that, her fingers began to trace patterns and scribble all over his exposed soles. Tim immediately burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. He was proven, on national television no less, to have extremely ticklish feet. Laura was giggling at his expense as she continued her tickle assault. "I'm sorry Timmy, but a bet is a bet!" as her fingers spider crawled up and down his arches. She tickled on for a few more seconds until Tim cried out "Uncle uncle!" And then the screen faded to black and cut back to the live crew at the desk.
Every member of the team was in stitches. Roman and Jordan were both pounding the desk in laughter and even Paul removed his glasses and wiped his eyes in laughter. Tim smiled sheepishly, and he added, "What you didn't see there too was that she went on for another half hour after that, and she wouldn't let me out until I told her she was the better Florida Gator of us two." To which the whole crew fell into another fit of laughter. Laura then had a mock look of indignation on her face. "It was not a half hour...just maybe like 20 minutes." She admitted with a grin. "It was too much fun, what can I say?" She then turned back to the main camera, her professional poise returning. “It’s been an honor and a privilege to bring you the best of the SEC every Saturday this fall. From all of us here at SEC Nation, enjoy the game, and we’ll see you next season!”
Epilogue: Later that evening, back in the quiet of her hotel room, Laura kicked off her heels and flopped onto the bed. The adrenaline of the live show was finally fading, replaced by a warm sense of accomplishment. She pulled out her phone, scrolling through her notifications. The show’s social media team had already posted a clip of the punishment to her Instagram page. Laura sat back and read the comments with great delight, as even some of her fellow sports reporters had chimed in, including Holly Rowe, Samantha Ponder, and Erin Andrews.

I've been looking for a way to get him like this forever! You've given me SO many ideas. We NEED to do this again TOGETHER sometime. Maybe I can help! 😉
Laura’s heart swelled. Demi was as wonderful and fun as Tim. She quickly typed a reply:
"Would absolutely be on board for that! 😘"
Then soon enough, Laura and Demi plotted out their plan over DM's. They agreed to get Tim buried at the beach together for a little off season get together.
