I usually chide a friend at work, a VW mechanic, about his car. He's got an old VW Jetta TDI that reaches the decibel levels of a Concorde, and smells as awful as any diesel you've ever experienced. Well, he came up with a great point...he says that every so often, he lets off on the clutch really slow in first gear, thus making a Hiroshima cloud. No one has the guts to tailgate him then...chases them away faster than Promise Keepers who mistakenly attend a Marilyn Manson concert. I then told the mechanic in the next bay, also a good friend, that my next car will be a diesel...
