TMF: Ground-breaking pioneer!

I think it's time again to thank the TMF for its pioneer work in the realm of tickling!

I joined the original TMF (on ez-board) exactly one month after its inauguration, and I was member no. four hundred something. This was very new for me, and we wondered when we would hit the thousand-member-mark. We even wondered whether there were 1000 tickle-freaks at all!

Now, about 5 years later, my new site welcomed its 1000th member barely 3 weeks after opening. This would never have been possible without the pioneer work of the TMF!

Many of the now so successful sites, like Tickle Theater and others, would not exist without the ice-breaker function of the TMF! Thank you!

I think we all owe a big thanks to the original PSYCHO who was the one who really pioneered this forum. Even though this is not his cup of tea anymore, I remember he always thought "BIG" and I liked that quality about him. Hope he is doing well.

ah I was a member of the class of April 2001..lurked only for a couple of days before I knew this is where I wanted to be. Thanks for all the hard work and effort that goes into making this board run. I have met some very good friends through this site.

Hats Off To TMF!!

Although I'm offically registered apr 2002 under this name I had several "prototype" names before that. I'd say I've been here at least since sometime in 2001. In any case I had been visiting several tickling sites before the TMF. But all that changed on one of my frequent visits to Tom's Adult Tickling Site (a site I miss very much). It was there in the chat room someone tipped me off to the TMF.

When I made the jump here I felt like I enetered a whole new world. I guess it could be best described by the scene in X2 when Proffesor X brings Logan into the cerbro room and shows him the red mutant dots and declares "we're not so alone after all".

I could'nt believe what I had found. This is the first time I felt I wasn't alone in my love of tickling as I saw there was literally hundreds of members. There was tickling pictures, video clips, news articles, discussion, a chat room that was almost always full and so much more. I reall felt I hit the motherload and often questioned how I had ever missed this place.

Needless to say I've been hooked ever since. It's nice to pop in and discuss my love for tickling with others who feel the same way. So to all of those who helped found this place, helped maintain it and continue to make it what it is now, I salute you!

Thank you everyone for being so nice to me. I have a confession to make: started coming to this site when I was 15. BUT, I am now 18 and will be 19 in a few months! So thank you evey body for being so nice. I appreciate it!

I was also an early member way back in April 2001 but I was under a different screen name then, however both of us 😉 really enjoy coming to TMF daily just to see what's up...
Kind of like walking into a bar and people yelling "Norm"...
I really must say that without Myraids TMF might have been lost when the founding person up and left the forum and left the rest of the Mods in quite a lurch!!!
I just thank the early Mods and the current ones for carring the torch that has brought so many people home.

*Swats Baron* While I may have joined close to a year ago, I've been lurking since the TMF first popped into existance. Back then, with the less than 1000 members, as Hal said, I often wondered if there would ever be a day when the Online element of the Tickling Community would ever bustle with traffic. Well, today, I can safely say that that day has come to pass. All thanks to PSYCHO, for starting it off, Myriads and the Mod Squad, for rising to the occasion and providing the much-needed leadership, and Jeff, for providing the much-needed hosting. Without you, we wouldn't be here, and the Tickling community might only consist of a few sites, instead of the hundreds of groups, webpages, and forums now active.
