When I was about 12 I was at a playground with my baby sister. This boy my age started picking on her. I'm obsessively protective so I started giving him a bunch of shit and he gave me a bunch back. Eventually he pushed me and I beat the ever-lovin' shit out of him. He went home. I did feel a little bad afterwards - but my dad was excited LOL

6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?

I try to avoid being jealous - it doesn't do anybody any good. When you become jealous of someone you begin to resent them - and having what I want is no reason for me to dislike somebody. There are plenty of other legitimate reasons to dislike someone 🙂

But I guess it probably happens. I'm totally envious of people with lots of moneh. My broke ass could use some of that.

I'm proud of my job. I guess I'm proud of certain aspects of my personality.

A few weeks ago when a drunk picked a fight with me while walking home. More out of self-defense than wrath, but he saw the error of his ways after I threw his skull against the sidewalk.

Not envy really, but I admire people who work a job they honestly love.

My level of stability.

I do not really envy anything or anyone as through the years I have discovered that they all have just as many FML moments as the rest of us.

My kids and my wife. My kids because they have grown to be caring and loving people without predjudice or hatred towards anyone. My wife because she is a hard working mom with nothing but love to give to me and everyone. No matter how hard life gets she is there when I need her.

You know, I've never really been in a fight although I do remember back when I was a kid, this little jackasshole was making fun of our young neighbor Josh who had cerebral palsy and used crutches. He kept grabbing the crutches and running from him so I chased after him and got the crutch and hit the little asshole like I was holding a baseball bat. He ran off crying to his mommy and I felt much better, as did Josh. 😛

6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?

Oh boy, I don't mean for this to sound wrong but I envy those folks that still have their mom alive. Sometimes I get sad when I see others doing stuff with their mothers and I can't do that. 🙁 I don't mean for it to sound bad. I just wish I could do the same.

7. PRIDE: What are you proud of?

My family. For being so strong and kind after all we've been through. They've managed to still put others first.

I envy people who are tall, graceful and truly outwardly beautiful

Well, I've no SO (and never have had one). Who have I lusted after? The list is long, that's assured. 😛

Fruit does; I can stuff myself full of apples, pears, bananas, oranges, and on and on. Bread is also a weakness; I do love a good loaf of bread.

A slot in an MD/PhD program, but that appears out of my grasp. A slot in an MD program I actually like is another thing, although I should be thankful I have a slot at all. I'll keep it simple and say an affordable apartment that will let me walk to school next year.

Not having any assignments due that day or the next few. That way, I can get odds and ends done, like making panoramas out of my backlog of photos.

None recently (unless you count that bout with MTP Jeff at NH Lee 2008 😛). I recall a number when I was younger. One was at the water fountain in middle school. I tended to get harassed often, and someone was pushing me as I was trying to drink. I surprised him and threw him to the ground, held him down with my knee to show I could hurt him further, and left. I don't actually remember who was suspended for that. 😀

I envy those who are happy with what and who they are. I'm beginning to envy those who have someone they are close to that they are with often; being at a distance from those I care for grows tiring. This could go on for days.

I envy my sister. She seems to have been able to sever ties and attachments with all the people and places around her, allowing her to do as she pleases and more, guilt and sadness free. And now she's moving to Indonesia for good. I'm gonna miss her.

For the most part I do a good job of keeping my emotions in check, but there have been times.... in the work world too, that I have done what I've had to do to unseed those who are unethical.

I'm happy with who I am, I dont' necessarily envy anyone... but I'd love to live my dream as an NHL player for just one day if I could 😀

I'm proud of my accomplishments, that I've been an advocate for the impoverished and provided a voice for the voiceless when I could.

I don't tend to do this... I did yell at my dog today when he darted into the street off the sidewalk. Luckily he was on leash, but he just missed an oncoming car. I yelled a little.

I envy people that are thin and can eat whatever they want. I always secretly hoped that my body would magically morph into this metabolism. No such luck.

I am proud of the work I do at school. I am pretty sure things are going swimmingly, and it's mostly because I won't let it fail. 🙂

Money. It by know means controls my life, but if I had a shit-ton of it, it would make a lot of my friends and family's lives easier and less stressful.

Crashed on the couch with friends watching movies and ordering in. Superbowl Sunday at the Albany gathering around lunch time when everybody was being lazybones and 15 of us were crashed in Nicki's living room watching Blazing Saddles was awesome.

A thieving customer attacked me at work once, which was odd because of the three people converging on him, I was the only one undercover in plain clothes. I think the uniformed officers already had him spooked and suspicious. Either way, I got within 10 feet of him and he threw a 10 pound object at me and bum rushed me and we went to the ground. I dropped three elbows on the back of his head and that ended that. Every blue moon, work gives back a little pleasure unannounced. 😀

6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?
Sometimes, children. Its fun to watch them run around and play and enjoy themselves, and you remember back being that age, with no responsibilities or bills to speak of short of having to decide exactly how early you want to get up to watch cartoons.

My family. They are always a source of inspiration.

If this just refers to anyone period, then that would be an awfully damn long list. I have an absolutely FILTHY mind in some ways, and I have a brief (at least) dirty daydream about almost every attractive girl that passes by.

Chocolate. In any form. I can pretty much eat chocolate all damn day and not get sick of it, at least until I become physically ill.

Video games, movies, and pizza delivery while laying around (sans-shower) in whatever I went to bed in the night before. Hell yeah. 😀

I had the misfortune of being the biggest AND youngest kid in my grade. Long story short, it took a long while for my coordination, strength, and etc. to catch up to my size, and kids used to pick on me. A lot.

The summer before 9th grade, everything caught up. FAST. It was friggin' amazing. Thing was, nobody realized it... So I waited until the other kid my size (he was about an inch shorter, but 20-30 pounds heavier and almost 2 years older) messed with me, and I challenged him to a fight. I kicked the shit out of this guy in front of the whole football team so badly that he actually started crying. It made me feel a little bit bad, but it served as a pretty good lesson to everyone else. To this day, that's the last fight I've ever been in.


6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?

People who can draw really well. It's strange, but I've always wished that I could at least sketch a little bit. I can't even draw a straight line with a damn ruler...


7. PRIDE: What are you proud of?

I'm lazy, I procrastinate constantly, and I almost never take things seriously... And yet despite that I'm totally self-sufficient and don't need anyone to help me with anything. Seriously, it bothers me if someone tries to help me with anything, even something as minor as putting a piece of furniture together or making dinner. One of the first sentences I uttered as a baby was "by self." It stuck.

I'm proud that I'm almost done with school and venturing out this summer instead of just taking the easy way out and staying in NC.

In the 6th grade I was one of three people who beat somebody severely, until he had a broken nose, many bruises, and a bloody lip. He deserved it; he was a Nazi scumbag.

For once I'd like to not worry about bills and work responsibilities, and indulge myself in an all-day workout at the gym.

Shortly after my sister started dating this guy she began showing signs of abuse. Bruises, lesions, limping, that kind of thing. I planted a miniature camera in her house along with an audio bug. I do part time work for a security company. When the abuse started, I used my key and walked in. The guy was furious, and walked quickly toward me and made a move as if to grab me and throw me out. He was a big guy, but slow. I sidestepped and punched him very hard in the left kidney. He went down. Not wanting to play favorites I rolled him over and punched his other kidney just as hard. He's still experiencing renal failure today. He threatened to sue me until I sent him his lawyer a flash video of him abusing my sister. Never heard from him again.

6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?

Nobody. Because no matter how good somebody's life looks, you never know what kind of turmoil they're going through. I thankful and grateful for my own life, my own faults and shortcomings.

7. PRIDE: What are you proud of?

My country. My fellow teachers nation-wide. My fellow citizens who stand against the wave of new trends of liberal thinking. I'm proud of people who aren't intimidated by the ACLU or the liberal Hollywood politico and do their best to preserve the traditions of this great country.
