Jeff Jarrett (the OWNER of TNA) has been suspended indefinitly by his OWN company. How in the hell does that happen? Shows how bad the managment in TNA is. He was suspended for going on the bubba love radio show and saying he is currently in a relationship with kurt angles ex wife karen angle and that they are living together

He was kicked out of the building at the victory road ppv by dixie carter (his employee) and is off telvision and not to show up at shows until further notice :facepalm2::facepalm2::facepalm2::facepalm2:

I was just reading about this. I hope this doesn't stop Kurt Angle from leaving TNA.

Tech TNA is owned by Jarretts wife
Edit-sorry, not his wife but Dixie Carter is the president and primary financier

Jarrett still had enough stroke that should've kept this from happening. This is the equivalent to Triple H being suspended by WWE.

I disagree

HHH did not create WWE.

Jarrett is nowhere near the high drawer that HHH is. It would be more apt to say its like if McMahon was suspended since its in actuality the same relationship. Vince does not own\is not the head of WWE, his wife is the president of the company i believe

Jarrett and HHH are both wrestlers and have a lot of influence backstage. Vince can't be suspended from something he created.

Yes he can, WWE is a publicly traded company, he answers to stock investors
He is the chairman and is head of the board of directors whom are chosen by the investors. Linda is the current CEO and is involved in day to day WWE entity business moves.

In a publicly traded company the Board oversees a CEO, makes sure the company is operating profitably, advises on broad longer term business trends and situations. One hopes the Board advises the CEO in good faith and good justice on how to run the company in a profitable, legal and ethical manner. The Chairman is the elected person who leads that Board, presides over meetings, organizes committees and reports.

BTW i watched the ppv just today

Its just hard to watch period just wrestling wise, its just not good

Morgan\daniels was a horrible match due to the size differential. I was hoping stevie\abyss woulda been more entertaining for a garbage match. Sting\Joe was just terrible

Seems like Vince and the WWE have nothing to worry about. TNA looks like a sinking ship right now

I stopped watching when they got rid of Maple Leaf Muscle, Petey Williams. He was their best wrestler(well him and AJ Styles) and they buried him when he was there, and eventually dumped him.

TNA Impact!>fuck WWE Raw right now. The made Shaq look bad on the Mic and this past one...ugh..."Summerfest"?

Why should WWE change? As they proclaim, they get the viewers

I haven't watched TNA in over a year. They FAIL because they would rather put over recycled has-beens than push their own farmed talent. Three words spell doom for TNA: Main Event Mafia.

BUT, just like in wcw's days, The MEM are draws

You will get the casual fan in if they see sting, nash, foley, etc etc

Thats how you build a new company so to speak. You load up on established named to main event while you have the midcarders make names for themselves

...and look at what it did for WCW. I will say the Knockouts division is head and shoulders above the WWE's Divas. Aside from Gail Kim, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, the Divas are a bunch of swimsuit models with no wrestling ability. I will also say that I love Eve Torres like none other. I would sell my soul for one night with her.

Yes look what it did for WCW, it destroyed WWF and nearly ran them out of business until WWF adapted its format to the attitude era.

Also that is a failed retort. WCW\NWA was already established with guys like Sting, Flair, Luger, Anderson and others(yes they came from AWA and others but still it fits)

TNA's ratings, albeit low, are up i want to say 30-60% from last year. Some of the biggest ratings push came from after Kurt Angle came to TNA.

Yes, WCW did have established stars on their roster, but didn't gain noteworthy mainstream recognition until Hogan came over and formed the NWO... and ultimately, that's what destroyed WCW. Putting over the politicians like Hogan and Nash instead of its fresh talent. TNA is headed down that same path.

Uh No, Hogan was in WCW for several years before NWO and his popularity\WCW's popularity was in decline, hence then the NWO thing

Yes NWO was what crippled WCW after it rose them but as I said, you have your established guys main event and build an undercard

It was this method that gave you Chris Benoit, Eddie Guererro, Chris Jericho, Booker T, and several others

The problem with the established guys main eventing is they tend to stay there and the undercard gets ignored. It took YEARS for Benoit and Guerrero to finally get over.

Just look at the WWE's RAW currently. It's always the same 3 guys: HHH, Orton and Cena while the REAL talent continues to get buried in mid-card obscurity. That's what happened to Jericho, Guerrero and Benoit in WCW; Saddled with bad angles and dumb gimmicks and oppressed by the backstage policiticans until they ultimately left to form 'the Radicals.' Booker got a push by default during WCW's decline because there was nobody else. I wonder how long it'll take WWE to elevate Swagger or MVP to the main event. Hell, Jericho who is already an established star is stuck playing second fiddle to Big Show as his tag team lackey. I wonder why that is...

OH i am not arguing about the power issues behind the scenes with the main eventers not wanting to lose their statuses. But for a strict dollar sense, its better to have notable names as champion of your bigger belts. Look at WWF, for the majority of the time, Hogan was the top dog\champ while warrior or other "minor" wrestlers were IC or other titles.
As for bad angles, Jericho had some of the best angles in WCW. His "feud" with goldberg, when he became the man of 1,004 moves, and some others

MVP has been getting a moderately good push the past year and him moving to RAW is another test to that. But its been a well known fact that Vince likes to push the big wrestlers

Jericho did have a really good feud with Dean Malenko back in WCW. I was referring to Eddie Guerrero and the Latino World Order. They made all the luchadores look like complete jokes... and they all got run down by the nWo.

I think they could have inserted MVP into the main event scene when he first came over to Raw when he interrupted Orton. That had the making of something big, but Cena and HHH took care of that.

But Bischoff gave luchadores pushes. They held belts

Are you telling me LWO was more of a mock than Eddie rolling into every arena in WWE with a lowrider? The LWO was no different than the LAX in TNA.

Albeit minor belts. Still, the cruisers and luchadores were one of the best things about WCW. Vince took over and destroyed the division because he couldn't care less about the smaller guys. Matching up Evan Bourne against Jack Swagger is proof.

At least Eddie won matches at a fairly decent clip with his lowrider. The lWo never won anything and got squashed every week.

And now Taz has replaced Don West on commentary. Although, I'm not so sure that it makes TNA worse.
