To All Clip Producers: You Views Regarding Your Clips Being Freely Accessible?

How do all of you producers feel about people paying for your clips and then releasing them for free via youtube and dailymotion? I mean, I had this ridiculous argument while trying to support the guy from Tickle Central, who got fed up with his clips being released to the public for free via video clip sites. People kept exclaiming how the free clips being displayed is "Good for Business."

Can any producers or anyone else for that matter please enlighten me on how a producers clips being dispensed for free to the world is good for business? Who is gonna pay for clips when they know within a month or two it will be on dailymotion? Remember Napsta and other music download sites that got in trouble because the music industry was losing tons of money because of this very same problem? I just do not see how this is good for marketing when people can just go to youtube, find a clip for free and jerk off to it, rather than pay for it on the site. Besides, most people buy the clips to whack off to, so if they can find other clips for free on the internet to jerk off to, why are they gonna pay?

Last I checked, samples of things are good for marketing. Give a person a taste and leave them wanting more. Why is someone gonna buy the cow when the milk is free already?? Do you producers agree with me or disagree?

At least Zen was truthful. Apparently other producers won't speak their minds on the subject because of fear that consumers won't like what they have to say.
