Well im still rooting for the Patriots. i dont think they will go too far if they make the playoffs, but im still pulling for them.

if u were rooting for the patriots u wouldnt be sipping on titans, giants, or cowboys kool-aid

all bandwagon hating aside i would reccomend not betting on the titans because they wont beat the ravens, or colts and placing a bet on the cowboys isnt smart seeing as they arent even in the playoffs and if they do make it romo is a choke artist.. if you want a good bet place a small bet on the ravens or falcons.. if u lose it was a small bet but if u win they would pay off huge

If you were a long time Detroit Lions fan, would you have pride in them this year?
If someone (YOU) were a Pats fan from 1988-2000 when they stunk, would they (YOU) have reason to be 'proud'?
No f-ing way.
But I'll bet the farm that every Pats fan, bandwagon fan and resident of New England felt 'proud' after they 'brought home the bacon' in 01. And talked $h!t as often and loud as possible.
Like Slacker said, fans gotta take the good with the bad.
Otherwise they're just spineless with some thin skin.
On that note:

Sounds to me like you have too much pride/love of winning.
Which clouds your judgment.
Hence the bagwagon remarks.
Stick with the Pats; they ain't that bad and have proven themselves as a team worth supporting, unlike say... the Lions or Raiders.

gotta disagree with that.. every team is worth supporting.. if i was a lions fan i would still be supporting them.. you support your team no matter what. even if they are as disfuctional as the raiders or as bad as the lions.. i would support the steelers even if they didnt win a game next year
I would too.
But if they treated their star, future HoF RB like crap until he retired (Barry Sanders), hired a GM with no experience (Matt Millen), drafted a WR with their #1 pick for 3 straight years (Carlos, Roy, Mike Williams), hired a coach with little experience who signed his brother-in-law as D-coordinator (Rod Marinelli) and THEN went 0-16...
Bottom line to me:
I don't blame any Lions fans for jumping ship. Their team and management is beyond inept... and has been for too long.
