Tragedy

My thoughts and prayers go out to those in London. It is a true tragedy that some insecue cowards think that is the only way to have their voices heard.

I am a Christian, however I could never think of doing something like that in the name of God. I am sure the true Muslims feel the same way. The people who carried out this horrific act are truely insane.

I want to make a plea to those in the Muslim community to act in good faith, and report anyone trying to recruit for Islamic Jihad or Al Queda. That is the only way we can stop this madness.

The powers that be need your help in discovering terrorists or potential terrorists.

absolute madness

Ordinary people, on an ordinary day, travelling to work by tube and bus.Seems these devices were on a timer,as they all went off within a very short space of time.I'm a London Firefighter and attended the scene at Aldgate.The train is still encased in the tunnel and so are some of the victims,due to the extreme heat,asbestos,safety of the tunnel walls,and vermin,the extrication is painfully slow.My heart goes out to their loved ones.
These bastards will never win.The British judicial system needs reviewing,and exterminate theose responsible.Perhaps that would be a deterant,although i doubt it.Thanks guys for all your support. United we stand, hey.

I'm sure we are all saddened by what has happened in London over the last few days. However, I don't really think it has affected most people in Britain. People in London are a little bit more tolerant of travel delays etc. and are more friendly towards each other. But I don't think anyone outside of London (or even in London) is scared or concerned about similar attacks. Immediately following the London attacks, people eating in Birmingham (our second city) were warned about credible intelligence that their city would be bombed that evening, but people just continued eating an drinking, refusing to vacate the city centre until it was eventually evacuated.
Perhaps it will take an event of the magnitude of the WTC catastrophe to make Europeans react with anger and determination to vanquish an unseen enemy.
Personally I would rather more people came on hear and offered apologies and sympathy for those being terrorised by coalition troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere. Our countries hostile actions will simply breed a new generation of more dedicated enemies.
