Too much\bad tickling?

I like to consider myself a reasonable tickler. Yesterday i had a nice tickle date with my 'Lee and pretty much tickled her for over an hour. I discovered though when i used a pen on her soles, it tickled so much to the point where she wasnt really enjoying it, so naturally i did stop. I asked if she was just copping out or she really didnt like it and it was that it was too intense to enjoy. I felt bad and retired the pen for the time being

Just a question for the 'lees on the forum, have you been in a situation like this where even though you love tickling, there are instances where it tickles too much you dislike it\dont want it at all?

i just saw this post.. no i haven't been in a situation like that before, but i haven't been tickled to or beyond my limits. i would imagine a pen could do some great tickling but it was very nice of you to stop when she showed distress..

There's going to be a point where someone wants a certain thing to stop, no matter how much they enjoy it. I mean, I love ice cream, but eating too much of it gives me a headache. The same idea can work with tickling.
