Top (insert integer) things that really piss creative people off beyond all reason!!!

1) painful arthritis, painting becomes agony and often ends up ruined
2) writer's block.... driving me insane!
3) someone consistently saying "my god, look at this on TV" every two minutes while you're trying to work....
4) somehow being unable to organise any of it
5) those moments where, for some incomprehensible reason, you can't get started and you're just staring at a blank new document!

Hmmmm....my list....

+ writers block
+ getting the inspiration to write something great at a time when I can't possibly do anything
+ waking up in the middle of the night with a great idea and being unable to get back to sleep because my mind is too busy fleshing it out
+ interruptions when I'm trying to write
+ being in too much pain, too tired or too spaced from meds to work on something
+ laptop freezing up just as I complete something really good (fortunately, I have things set to do frequent saves along the way)
+ realizing that I need to stop what I'm doing and go fix dinner just as I'm getting to a good point in things
+ people who know I'm working on something constantly bugging me about it and/or wanting me to be working on something they want
+ my cat deciding he needs to come sit in my lap and ending up on the keyboard instead...resulting in things like this....dgagofnsdg'vlbnav;...in the middle of whatever I was working on

I agree with all of these, but my major "integer" is:

When what's in my head doesn't reach my hands! I get an idea how I want something to look, but can't dupiclate the actual project. That just burns my shorts!!!

Ice your wrist, shoulder and neck. It might help a bit. Never use heat.

Can't force creativity. If it ain't there it ain't there. Don't try and force it. Think of Creativity as a woman. A really hot one.

With mood swings.

Tell them, politely, that you're busy. Or, blow up the tele or shoot them. I would suggest going with my first suggestion though.

The smell of dead bodies does not inspire creativity. Unless of course, you're into that sort of thing.

But still, there's like, the police and stuff.
