Torturable

Hey,

OK, so I'm talking to a few of my friends from here on TT. You know who you are . :stickout. Yeah, still thinking about this topic though it's been a few days give or take a few. Anyway, apparently, I am torturable. So, my question to you all (yes, I'm making a lame topic at 11:05pm my time) is what defines a person as torturable? I mean, I still don't understand why I am ><. Unless you're going by the fact that I sass you all on a daily basis (that's more defense mechanism that trying to be an actual sass, though I guess I could be sassy in real life). Anyway,I"m getting off topic. Here are my questions to you all.

I'm not actually sure torturable is word, at least that's why my spellchecker on chrome is telling me... but anyway, onto your questions!

I'm not actually sure what torturable means, but I'll assumes it means "fun to tickle torture." In which case my answer would be, well obviously, if someone was being all feisty and, well, sassy, like they were asking for a good tickling and basically daring you (raising her arms over her head, putting her shoes in your lap, etc, etc) then I'd call that torturable, I suppose.

Who do I think is torturable? I don't know, someone who needs either to laugh more to be taught a lesson?

Hmm like Jonesy said i don't even think it's a word , then again am not englishly litatured so i don't have a clue if thats true or not.

On to the topic , i think a torturable person is a person that would meet ure own personal expectations of the reaction to the said torture. Tough painfull torture everyone reacts , some better then others but am guessing this is for tickle torture only. So like when i poke in the side i excpect a jumpy reaction and at least a smile with a giggle , then to me that person seems torturable to me and would love to find out more. If not and i get an angry glare , slap and cursing then i move a few tables away.

I think everyone is until the said reaction is not met for ure preference. So like people who like to tickle feet and the person there torturing isen't foot tickles then that person is not torturable. On the other hand if that person just screams it out with laughter and shrieks on the ribs or someplace else then that person is torturable.

You know you're touture-able in my eyes Amber 😉 Why? Cuz you're adorable, and in my mind, if you were tied to a bed and all helpless and ticklish, no one, at least on this site, could resist you and your giggling and cute reactions when you sqeak, telling them to stop. That's what torture-able is to me.

Someone that really draws out a 'lers cravings to tickle and torture. Whether it's the way you squirm, or the giggles that come from you even though you hold them back. A squeak at a touch, or the way you wiggle away knowing you can't. The little things that make someone want to tickle, and tickle more. Plenty can be ticklish, but to have all those little qualities that drive a torturer to want to keep going. Maybe the way you goad them on, or mock their technique. The way you hold it in, or the ease at which you fold after a lot of tough attitude. The qualities about you that just make teasing irresistible. That's what you need to be 'torturable'. My new favorite word that isn't a word. <3

It would have to be a person who would be easily and want to be tortured, but it's not my bag so I don't look for it in a person.

Haha, wow. Interesting responses you guys. As for the actual word "torturable", I"m not the one that came up with it. You all can blame or reward Bugs and Venom for that! :stickout

It's nice to hear that I"m torturable from you and the reason as to why. Makes me wonder if you'd actually think that if we actually met in real life. I could be a big disappointment you know :stickout Wouldn't want to disappoint you, now would I? 😉

For those claiming that Torturable isn't an actual word, tend to forget this is how language evolved. So the spell checker won't have it, but it doesn't take much thought to figure out what it means. I thought it was quite creative myself.
I remember back in grade school, we'd be lectured for using the word 'ain't,' once again claiming it was bad grammar, and if anyone used the word in a paper, it would be marked as misspelled. However, over the years with repetitive usage, it has finally been accepted to the degree that some dictionaries now have the word. Ain't it the truth.
