The US should put a ban on selling weapons to kids, like those columbine shooters. In the Netherlands, we have the most severe anti weapon laws in all of Europe. And we never had a shoot-out at a school. We had guys that stabbed someone to dead during a conflict at schools, but no massacres like columbine. Our neighbours, Sweden and Germany, do sell weapons to citizens, and both of them had a shoot-out at school this year. (no offence, Sweden and Germany are cool countries)

The thing is, I really blame the gun stores for what happened at columbine. Not the sick minds of those two screwup boys, but the people that actually gave them the tools to unleash their sick ideas for real.

I know, there are many problems that won't be solved by doing banning weapons, but a lot of problems will be solved nonetheless.

In the US, it is already illegal to sell a long gun to anyone under 18 or a handgun to anyone under 21, with proof of age and a background check required and purchase records retained for 20 years. Some states have even stricter laws. The problem is that criminals don't obey the laws in the first place.
