hi TMF, first time poster here. so i am going to be meeting up with a ticklee i met through tumblr (if all works out) and i am planning on creating a glove specifically for tickling, ive sketched out a rough idea of what i want it to be (i cant draw, so brace yourselves):

Screen shot 2013-03-03 at 7.34.59 PM.png

so basically i need to figure out:
• what type of glove would work best
• how to attach the brushes to the fingertips securely (this is the biggest problem of the whole thing, im going to fill the glove with lotion while i use it, so they need to be on there stably)
• what type of brush / bristled material or item to use in the middle and how to attach it securely
• where exactly to cut open areas on the palm of the glove (for added sensation, and lotion flow)

that's about it. do you guys have any helpful input, because i am stumped!

I can't help whatsoever because I'm no good with being creative, but welcome to the forum! Interesting idea you have.

it's all good, me either! thanks. someone is bound to know how to construct this.

so can someone / anyone help?

You would probably do better buying a Fukuoku glove and using some kind of epoxy to glue the brush heads to the glove.

like the idea of the fukuoku, but it's a bit out of my price range. trying to be thrifty, not to mention it's electric and i'm planning on filling this glove with lotion!

epoxy glues, hmmm, im not very familiar with glues, is the a glue specifically for textiles? keep in mind that the toothbrushes have a plastic bottom, so some glues may not work.

unless you strap your wrist in filling the glove with lotion will not work well... you hands will slide out especially since you want to cutout everything but the fingers. The fukuoku glove is water proof. but it is out of your price range you want on the cheap. then i would get a med duty glove like http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/CONDOR-Natural-Rubber-Latex-3HB75?Pid=search and use something like gorilla glue. I would stay away from filling the glove withlotion and just put the lotion on the outside of the glove on the rubber part before you use it.

If you really want to use something like that just go buy some exfoiliating gloves like these... http://www.dollartree.com/Exfoliating-Bath-Gloves/p153179/index.pro they are a dollar you can dip them in lotion or babyoil... and you dont have to attach brushes... they are already designed to scratch and scrub like a brush.

ooooh, good ideas. only thing is, i feel like the brushes would be much more ticklish than the exfoliating gloves, you know what i mean? is there any way i could use the brushes with the exfoliating gloves, or is that material too weak to hold the brushes?

or is there any way i can attach the toothbrushes to separate figertips alone, without a glove? that would be much better, but it would be really tricky to figure out how to hold them. i feel like ductape would be good, but after a short while, would lose its hold.

i could buy something like these, but i am sure a toothbrush would again, be much more ticklish.

The problem with attaching anything to a glove that isnt completely thick and rigid and lack mobility is the fact that you want to fill/coat/saturate the glove with lotion and have something with stiff bristles and a flat plastic back to it attached to the tip of your finger. So you will be balancing a stiff brush on the tip of your finger coated with a lubricant. and you have to put sufficient pressure on said brush to get it to tickle. So, try this. Go cut off the head of a toothbrush, but some lotion on your finger and try and put the brush down on the top of a table. Because that is what it will be like when you attach it to a glove.

Now if you want something that is somewhat what you are looking for... try this http://img3.buyincoins.com/gallery/4pcs-palm-pet-grooming-massage-glove-01.jpg

I just think finger tips and nails would work better than any glove... but that's just me 🙂

^Agreed. It might be more worth the time, energy, and money, to grow your nails out and get a manicure.

ive been thinking about one of those, but separate brushes would be so much more ticklish. there has to be a way to make this thing! do you think a bunch of gorilla glue would hold?

lols i am a dude though, i could grow my nails out a bit, but you all know how much more ticklish this thing would be!

but you all know how much more ticklish this thing would be!

That is a debatable point. I would argue that it is a tickler's skill that ultimately comes in to play; and not the toys at hand. Ask any lee that has been accosted with implements from the janitorial section of Home Depot by a ham-handed lout who smells of fresh Gorilla Glue and has all the finesse of a towel-dry lackey at a car wash.

very true, but this thing will be awesome when it's done!
